sherriff busts big teen party in Fentress

Anyone know anything about the law arresting a bunch of teenagers at a party and then taking them to the hospital????

on channel 4 news it was said they were taken to the hospital due to usage of synthetic drugs. these kids are killing themselves with this junk!!!

Hope the authorities find out where the teens got the stuff,and charge them very strongly.

You can still get it at Midway if they knowyou but some convenient stores in Crossville also cary.I dont see how it can be legal because it is a halluciginic drug that can cause later brain damage.Where wasLR?

Fourteen young people were transported to the hospital tonight following a party outside Jamestown city limits.

Fentress Co. Sheriff Tony Choate says deputies crashed the party this evening, and the juveniles were transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

All party-goers were under the age of 18. The sheriff says no adults were at the party.

12 minors were transported to the ER by ambulance while the other two went to the ER with parents.

There have been no overdoses, says the sheriff. The minors will all be released to parents once the medical staff approves.

The owners of the house (parents????) should be charged with providing alcohol and drugs to minors. Where were the parents of all these children?? Obviously, they didn't feel the need for supervision. They should be looked at by child services.

Some state reps are considering making it a felony for people and businesses selling it..Will be interesting to see if they do it.

I think we did. I felt the whole county shake..lol Of course it is possible that if they make it a felony we will need a bigger jail..Some state reps are also considering on taking away a businesses beer license for 60 days,or their right to sell cigarettes for 60 or 90 days for each offense.What do you think about that?
