i never did like fried apple pies. but i love most other country fixings. i grew up helping in a big garden every year. i hated it then but i kind of miss it. nothing like fresh beans and corn. and tomatoes and green peppers. of course we had potatoes and cucumbers turnips and even had watermelons and had grape vines too. i miss those days.

Anybody got any weird combinations of food they like to eat? i like peanut butter and bologna sandwiches.

i might have to try that some time. i eat pickled bologna and ice cream when i was pregnant with my first child. it sounds gross now.

I do have to say, you have some weird combination. lol. Luckily, I had no strange or even real cravings when I was pregnant. I was getting ready to say I had none period but I thought of one, I sometimes cut up dill pickle in my chili and mix in a little butter. Used to eat it like that a lot but now it is every so often.

I have heard several people say it was good. Never tried it though. I had a friend in high school that ate snickers and potato chips.

wow! people think i am weird for putting brown sugar in my homemade chili. but my family loves it.

Mix mayonnaise with pinto beans and cornbread. and a friend of mine likes mayonnaise and saltine crackers together.

I only do that in my own bowl, my husband won't even let me put tomatoes in my chili let alone butter or pickle. lol. His stepmom used white sugar in her chili. He isn't a chili person but he loved hers. I have tried it to knock the tang off a little but never could get it right so I gave up.

try a little brown sugar. it knocks the tang off. does anyone know if school is getting out early tomorrow? i heard it was at 2.

What kind of life are you going to have at one in the morning in Jamestown? There are other threads that I think you might find more interesting. What are your interests and I can probably point you in the right direction. There is sports, politics, religion, games, pictures, etc. etc. Will be glad to help.
