The cat is out of the Alliance Party's bag. Peter Hayes is running for his own seat. Trouble is, he has missed 11 of 24 village board conferences and public meetings in the past year. Why IS he running again and WITH the mayor's approval with that attendance record? Unacceptable.

Wouldn't have anything to do with the Mayor having his proxy to vote his seat when he's absent, would it?

Handy thing to have when you're Mayor - proxy votes from pliable absentee board members you can pull out when needed ...
