Video Spotlight - 8 Teens Arrested in Videotaped Beating

The sad thing is in the video. Listen to the girl who says "be careful not to hit the shelf." She's more concerned about her furniture getting damaged than this poor girl. Man, if that was my daughter, those teens would have medical bills.

What a dumb bitch that MOM must be. I feel sorry for this girl and the dudes should go to jail for being lil bitch ass lookouts so they can have lookouts on them when they get there ass beat.

White Trash..that's what I was going to say. The parents defending this action are obviously young white trash.. If it were that b*tches daughter she would not be defending the other girls for putting her daughter in the hospital... Also, I live in Jacksonville....not the city/state this program attaches me too...

I would not always say that its the parents fault. In this case though I have to point my finger at the parents of all these girls. Here we got 8 girls and 2 boys at a house that that obviously would not belong to them at thier age. Where are th parents? I would not be surprised if the one girls mom was somewhere in the house glued to MySpace. These girls were never taught compassion, probably because they never got any from thier parents. Never taught by the parents to think things out, they were probably left alone alot growing up and they turned to other kids in the same situation for advise. I know we are not that type of society but if we where they should never be allowed to reproduce. I am sure if we looked back on many of the parents past we would find similar situations with them involved. See what happens since they were allowed to reproduce?

Ok this world is messed up!! When we have teenagers beating another girl up just to put it on youtube. The main girl in this video should be locked up for a while. This is completly out of hand these girls need to be punished!!

Mark, you have to remember that one man's white trash is another man's white treasure, and because of that, these 6 girls will marry a trailer park king and get a daily beating for burning the road kill and not making the eggs greasy enough. Karma comes full circle. And I would also like to comment-bomb these girls' MySpace pages as well.

These girls are completely out of hand. I can not believe the mother's audacity in saying the victim is at fault here. Aside from why the girls were beating the hell out of her, some ridiculous myspace slander, she said she would leave, she wanted to leave, and was never fighting back. I sincerly commend her actions. Fighting back would probably have made those bleach blonde white trash wannabe cheerleaders attack all at once. The girls should be tried as adults since they obviously see themselves as famous big girls. Well lets let their fame ride them into jail. I also believe the parents should be paying for the doctor bills and possible surgeries needed to repair the victim. Instead of doing the Today Show interviews defending your child who just beat the hell out of someone for NO GOOD reason. It wasn't self defense it was a way to take advantge of someone. These girls need a refresher course in humility and morals, maybe the court systems will knock them down a peg or two. The victim has sustained hearing and eyesight damage all because she struck a cord with these teenagers. Apparently they should stop sleeping with each others boyfriends (as one girl said in the video)and actually try something like learning. They need a heavy dose of reality. And since the parents are just as delusional as the girls maybe they should all carry the same sentence. That way everybody wins!

These little girls need to get a nice dose of what they dished out. You can't fault the grandmother for being at work and whatever else the parents were doing. The fact is that these little "princesses" have a way too high of view of themselves and found it easy to gang up on one. Let's see how they act seperated in jail. I am not even sure if they should have been released or if the bond was set high enough. I think as the parent of the victim I might even put for tougher charges, the maximum sentence and that the girls parents be responsible for all medical bills now and in the future as well as counseling. You know..........I wonder if these kids passed that video to manyone at school. If so, they could be charged with a FELONY assult and certainly would be tried as adults as well and never being able to attend public school again. All under the Zero Tolerance laws. Parent..........if you are reading this, it's something to check into.

In the today show interview the officer said that the girls who did this commented "I guess we won't be going to the beach for spring break this year" and "am I going to make it to cheerleading practice" And the mother says the other girl was at fault for putting something on Myspace! This is ridiculous!!! Seriously, trial them as adults and see what this fun little escapade actually costs you. They will be famous alright, just not the way they wanted to be. It looks more like bored little rich kids whose parent's can't buy their way out of this one to me!

I cannot believe this happened. What would posses people to do this? It's MYSPACE! Get over yourselves! I hope they all get tried as adults and get the maximum sentence, that way we have less crazies walking the streets. I was completely disgusted when I saw the video on the news; so disgusted in fact, I had to leave the room. My heart goes out to the girl they ganged up on and I hope she's alright. For the 8 arrested, I hope they get what they deserve.

These girls deserve to go to jail! What animals! I can't believe that they did that, but to not have shown any remorse after they were arrested....they need serious help and I think jail will do just the trick.
