I’m hearing some good things about ACDS athletics. The basketball team will be one of the top ten in the US this year. Coach Morgan is a dynamite guy and without doubt, the best scholastic coach in the country. Fans can't wait for the season to begin.

ACDS academics also on the upswing. A no nonsense atmosphere focused on creating an environment that nurtures the students’ abilities to comprehend and internalize the lessons promises new heights of achievement.

Look for Headmaster Condit to show dynamic leadership in the coming year. Also look for increased enrollment. All positives.

Keep up the good work.

In my opinion, this school is going to crash much harder than the last time it had difficulties--and it's just a matter of time. Its newest esteemed "owners" and self-appointed administrators are in varying degrees of ongoing financial trouble, as is the school. If Salerno didn't take pitty on their incompetence and not want to run the school himself the party would already be over.

Condit in Foreclosure (which she has avoided several times):

Dickerson with numerous judgments:

To those of you who can't stop saying things are turning around, WAKE UP! Parents should beware--their incompetent character can only lead the school one place--it's their shared destiny and I wouldn't want to be part of it. Just my anonymous opinion...

All very interesting and, sadly, not surprising to those who have known these scumbags for a long time. Also interesting is that their SACS accreditation is on "Warned" status and SACS doesn't even have any Quality Assurance Review reports (which the school is supposed to submit yearly) available. See for yourself:

It's probably only a matter of time before they lose their accreditation. They can't even get it together enough to submit a simple report to their accrediting organization! How you can you trust them to educate your children?

I miss posting here.

I don't know if any of you saw the recent article in the Times-Union, but Rex Morgan wants A.C.D.S. to enjoy the privileges reserved for FHSAA schools without any of the responsibilities, since the SIAA is much more lenient than the FHSAA.

Not a surprise. Rex Morgan isn't very bright, same goes for Debbie Condit on that matter. In regards to crash and burn, it's just a matter of time. They are on the last straw with SACS as their accreditation status remains at warned, dropped out of the FHSAA because they can't play by the rules, and would have been out of money long ago if Salerno wasn't so lenient with their fiduciary duties/obligations. Enrollment sucks compared to the Lichtward era; the economy is bad for private schools in general, especially those operated by mediocre management. Just a matter of time...

The school's web site has not been updated in over a year.

Parents don't care?

No recruting new students? or basketball players?

Unfortunately as some parents have so little regard for the education of their children, places like this will continue to survive in spite of a thousand reasons for shutting them down.

Accreditation should have been taken away long ago. But yes, we can always hope they will go away.

Everyone underestimates Condit and Morgan. It's survival of the fittest. They are fearless and cunning manipulators. They must win at all costs.

Certainly they will be back in the fall. They will continue to profit while students pay the price. It will take more than this board to remove them.
Pity the students.
