Candidates qualified and running for several local and state elections had until Friday at midnight to submit their campaign finance reports for the period between April 1 and July 18.
The reports cover candidates running in two City Council elections, State Attorney, Public Defender, two State Senator races, four State Representative races, three School Board races and two judicial races. The primary is set for Aug. 26 followed by the Nov. 4 general election. does the few $0.00 amounts mean that they have not spent anything on their campgain so far or does it mean they have not been able to raise any money.........either way would love to see the under dog's get much further than those that have been able to garner the lions share of money along the way..........as we have seen eith people like the current mayor..money does not always equal either a good candidate or common sense or decent values with the average mans best interests at heart.
