There's this place on Cassat just south of Normandy...can't remember the name, but it started with a "G". I was in the only once and I saw all the roaches crawling around. I told my mom that I would never eat there again, and I haven't. That was, um, in the 90's so it's been a good while. Maybe they've cleaned up, but I'm not giving them a second chance.

Travelincat wrote: <quoted text> I didn't mention Jenkins. because we talked about them at length ON ANOTHER THREAD!(I was yelling at myself. I'm old and get confused) Jenkins IS the favorite of many and I like it. Spicy mustard based sauce poured directly over tasty ribs, moist chicken, or delectable beef, cooked to perfection on a bed of white bread beautifully displayed on wax paper. How was that? It's been a while but I remember Checkers was pretty good. And, what's the one on Dunn's right at the split/curve? damn dude..now im hungry..ha...the one on dunn used to be woodys..but it got bought out by a local lady and its called be nays now..i havent been there yet though.

Sonny's and Woody's are alright, but I dunno, I only to to Woody's for Trivia Night just to see people that I haven't seen in years and I only go to Sonny's if my former drama teacher is treating us. Hmmmm..... Normandy Walmart and now The Pig? know ....Sounds like we go to a lot of the same places around here.... You are probably my neighbor and don't even know it.

Woody's has the best sweet tea, but for food, I'd have to say Cattleman's, Baymeadows/Old King's road. Superb!

However, I doubt you're my neighbor. Everyone in the neighborhood knows me. I mean, I started a multifamily feud that's lasted nine years now and has involved twelve families on this street alone. I'm pretty sure you'd know me just from that. And another thing...my neighbors are white trash and somehow I doubt you're white trash. Just an example, a week before Christmas, one of my next door neighbors was on the Maury Show to find out if he was really the baby daddy. No joke. Oh the stories.

I'm embarrassed to say I had an acquaintance who was on a Sally Jesse Rafael Show. It was about a High School hag who had supposedly gotten hot. A boob-and-lip-job along with a stripper title doesn't always mean "hot"!

A boob-and-lip-job along with a stripper title doesn't always mean "hot"! haha, I guess that's better than "who da babby daddy?" I was actually on the Dr. Keith Ablow Show, but I was in the audience...and it was three o'clock in the afternoon, I had been at the airport by three in the morning, on a two hour flight, and I had been wandering around Manhattan all day, so when they showed me I was always in the middle of a yawn and looked like I was about to pass out...fun times.
