Why can't we all just get along -- I think this quote was from a Nobel Prize winner named Rodney King. He was a good man and victim of both racism and prejudice. The word prejudice is not a word used much in today's culture - the in word is Racism. I think because it's easier to spell, and much easier to prove.

I live in Georgia -- sadly enough. I'm not from here. I'm from further north and I can't wait to go back.

The bottom line is this: every racist and prejudiced person I've met here in Georgia is intellectually challenged; and living here, I've met a lot of them -- black, white, Hispanic and otherwise.

I have yet to meet one person with a solid, logical argument founded on a legitimate and well-rounded education that supports hating someone because they are darker than them.

I believe this study is on the right track. The idiots I've met are unable to tolerate homosexuals. They make comments, such as ATL is for gay people and gay people are gay because they want to be gay.

The cognitive inability of the racist and prejudiced Georgians -- and northerners -- I've met is astounding. Its really simple to place the world in individual boxes; doesn't take much thought. But to dissect the world and understand how people become who they are takes a lot more brain power than lazy thinkers are accustomed to. It takes more brain power than most racists have the ability to dish out.

The education system here leaves a lot to be desired. Children are attending schools that are built like prisons. One such school has a "lock down" hour. They search every child's classroom and person for "contraband." Contraband acquired by children living in poverty. Poverty brought on by a poor education system.

There are 15-year-old children in the fifth grade.

What an awesome cycle.

Even the comments based on prejudicial thinking I've read on this post lack clarity, direction and ultimately, common sense. There are several poster children for this article who have posted here.

Blacks don't contribute to society? Really? Seeking an education would help you deal with that.

Rap music isn't an art form? Really? Then why has Harvard University taken the time to study Tupac's lyrics?

"Entitlement" programs should be demolished? Really? Then work to provide a better education for students attending institutions modeled on a "prepare-them-for-prison " system.
