Oh wow! Is there anything out there that you could take when you get this way to help you sleep? If all else fails I take a couple of Tylenol PM and that works for me...

Tried them all, even prescription,..with no luck. Stay away from Tylenol, it is one of the most dangerous OTC medications. By taking one over the suggested dose, could result in kidney & liver shut-down depending on how much is in your system, and how much your system can withstand.{personally experience, my sis almost died after taking more than required dosage, after spending 3 months in an Atlanta hosp. with kidney dialysis & liver failure}
Doc thought it was menopause, now he believes it is something else, sleep apathy test on Monday,..don't make sense to me, if, you can't sleep, how are you going to test how I sleep, and what occurs when I do.
I have always been a person of sleepless hours, but, never to this degree. I am exhausted, my granddaughter spent the day with me yesterday, and I tried to lay down and sleep with her,..no suck luck...{ generally, my grand children are the calming aspect of my life}...
I think it is "displacement" for I am out of work,..{ my job runs 9 months of the year, and we where slammed to the wall B4 the end of our contract}..and my body hasn't adjusted to ...my new ream of Life, yet.
For whatever it is..it is getting OLD fast. I am off to the beach to day with hopes of applying lots and lots of sunscreen and lying in the sun, with the sound of the ocean crashing the shore,..with ZZZZZ's only a moment or two away!
Everybody have a great weekend, be safe among your travels, watch your lil ones,..and be thankful you are an American, we are not perfect, but, at this point, in Life,..we still have the right, to make some decisions in our lives. And watch the Daytona Race,..for I am surely hoping ole JR. can pull a win off!!!

I know about how Tylenol can be. A lady that I knew lost her daughter a few years back from her daughter taking more than the recommended dose of it. She had a toothache and was waiting to see the dentist. She already had an appointment and was trying to deal with the pain. So with Tylenol I always follow the directions to the letter. In fact I always follow the directions on all of the over-the-counter pain relievers and prescription ones too. I don't take stuff like this unless I absolutely have to.

I have tomorrow off and will be going to my sister's house for a barbecue. Then I will be headed back to Lake City for music and the fireworks display. Have fun at the beach and have a Happy 4th of July.

Funny, we are going to the fireworks in Lake City too. I was hoping the dirt track was having a race, but, I am sure it isn't. They are running and off and on season.
Heading over to Live Oak to check on the improvements to my land, which I am sure, will leave me with a constant headache, for sure. Been wanting to catch the show at Lake City for a few years now, as my brother says it's pretty awesome, so this year, as we are not camping at my local area,..we are gonna try it. Maybe the ride will put me to sleep, if I'm not driving, I generally fall asleep....my daughter thought that might help yesterday, as we took a ride to her house in Macclenny, which in fact, did nothing for me, but, remind me, that maybe I need to seek counseling after her driving, I thought Macclenny was burning down!! I need to hook her up on the Nascar circuit!! Have a Happy 4th , and who knows we might be rubbing elbows in Lake City....let's hope I don't fall asleep then,..for I will surely be PO"D to miss the show!! LOL

I almost sicked the dog on someone this morning during our morning walk. This guy, who was riding his bike down the road, decided to make a b-line towards me and he got off his bike and at that point, all I could see was that he was some black dude, and Sal was ready to protect his master...but then he said good morning and went off singing.

I really hate that guy. He's done that before, just not when it's pitch black outside and I'm half asleep.

Ok. I will be on Hamilton Street somewhere near the lake when the fireworks start.

Be careful Joe...I would be concerned about that guy acting like that...

And yes, sunnysideup, the fireworks display is pretty spectacular for a small town. It seems to get better every year.

Ambien (RX only) is the bomb! You better be in bed after you take it. Takes approx. 10-15 min. to act. Have a hard time getting it anymore. Tylenol PM does not work for me & makes me groggy the entire next day. Melatonin does not work for me either and that is what my Dr. recommended. Whatever! Dr.'s shy away from anything RX these days...except when it comes to them or theirs.

Yes Tylenol PM can make you feel groggy the next day. So I don't take it unless I am going into a 2nd night without sleep.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Capricorn

You'll have a fabulous time if you're longing to see what's on offer in the sales, especially if you want to buy yourself some new clothes or cosmetics. However, you won't pay much attention to how much you're spending, and may even deliberately avoid thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and don't go overboard if you can't afford it.
