Excessive Force' Gets Sergeant 20 Days

If I would had done something like this to my neighbor I would be sitting in jail.. The JSO are nothing more then a bunch of pigs.. I hope this cop gets shot dead or killed in a traffic accident..

The sad fact here is , this JSO pig gets to keep his high paying and cozy job, while the tax payers picks up the tab on a law suite because of his criminal activity...

I am sure that he will end up a old, tired drucken slob, working in "security" and spending most of his day on some stupid forum spouting off at his drunken mouth about how great he is...o as if there aren't enough of those losers around, right?

Gee - he's lucky he wasn't patrolling the beach, speeding and drove over a sunbather. He would have been severely punished...oh, never mind. I guess he would have only gotten one week off with pay. So, yes, punished indeed.

everyone knows i am a supporter of jso...until they screw up then i will call them out on it...this is bullshit. he should be charged with assault and battery, false arrest...filing a false police report..breaking and entering and anything else they would have charged a vicilian with. then fire him, take away any future pension he would have gotten, and throw him in jail..and then the victim needs to sue the sheriffs office and the city...and im not a big fan of lawsuits either...this is shit...plain and simple...he had no business getting involved in two people simply arguing...he had no business even going to the mans door....he definately had no right to tase the man or arrest him. BULLSHIT..ill say it again!

Why isn't this action an felony assault ? What if the "neighbor" had blown-off this home_invasion thug with a 12-gauge to protect his family?

I agree! It is why people do not have respect, trust,or believe in the police in Jacksonville. They have a knack for always "putting the ball back" in your corner. I have had to have some dealings with the police, and I tell you, ask 10 different police officers, the same question, and you get, 10 different answers. EVERY TIME!!!

When I created this thread, I called sheriff Rutherfords office and said the exact same thing that I said here in the forum to his secretary, I believe her name was Linda.. I told her that I wanted the sheriff to call me back to discuss this... I was not polite..

Just a few minutes ago the sheriff did call me back... He said that the cop that was involved in this was invited in the apartment .. I said he was wrong and I have the facts to prove it.. I said if I did something like that I would have been arrested and tried.... He said no I wouldn't because it was only a mister meaner and not a felony...

He asked me where did I get my facts from.... I said give me a direct email to you and I will enlighten you..
He did, and I just sent him the link....... I also told him he was sucking the city dry with his budget..... I can't wait for the response.....

And if I do get a response... I bet it wont be from the sheriff because he doesn't have a clue as to whats going on, he's living in a nomansland and doesn't know how to deal with it.... The response will be from Linda, or one of his other kissup public servants..

The officer should have been fired and prosecuted himself. This is a shame. Under those circumstances, there is no way he was "invited" into the home. What a crock story. And it took the sheriff's office how many months to come up with this, only to give him a few days off with pay?

I don't think a citizens review board is the answer either. Those sitting on the board would be appointed by the mayor/city council. Exactly....
