Get connected talent is a extremely bad scam! They said that we could get pictures by hose amigo, but they want the payment up front and my card was charged more than five times the amount!!!

yes, the agency was here in mcallen August 20, 2011 and there were so many people who joined. The pictures taken by Jose Amigo were not very satisfactory. I have not received my cd with all the pictures taken. What can we do about this? I am being charged the web pagfe and i have not set up my web page, I would like to cancel auto pay.

how can i get info on bbb and my money back? i was told by my banker that if i cancel my auto pay for the web page, i would be charged $ 30.00 to cancel and i would need to contact the agency for a confirmation, chances are they may redeposit the contract and i will be charged again. I went thru with this in the Spring, payed all of the money for the web page and photos. While the photos were pretty nice and was great that I got to keep them, I have yet to receive any work from them.
I received an email that says they are announcing the fashion show that is in January; saying we will be seen by "elite clients" and are able to keep the clothing, etc.

The fitting is on Sunday, Dec. 18 in Columbus, a pretty far drive from my house and I do not know if I should waste my time even going all the way out there. I called and talked to them about this, no answer. I called Kyle's cell phone (because when you call the office, it goes straight to everyone's voicemails) and she said she would speak with BRANDI and call me back. This was Tuesday, I still have not received a phone call back.
Its kind of too late for me since I already spent the 400 dollars plus the 10 dollar deduction from my bank account each month.

What to do?

Why is it ,everyone wants to be a super star or a model. You just wasted a bunch of $$$

I hope this isn't a scam. Today I am going to a rehersal/fitting in Ohio for the upcoming fashion show on the 28th. My aunts already paid the 400 and something bucks :/ Reading all these negative comments make me sad and kinda regretful...I hope this doesn't turn out to be a scam cause my uncle is a lawyer and he'll go 'cray cray!

im a model with get connected. yes brandi is rude. jose is very friendly he does all sorts of photo shoots. you can pay in other ways if you dont want to give out a card or bank account number. i suggest you dont talk to brandi ask for someone else.

i was recently accepted as well. I will say this for them , i recieved a booking almost two weeks after my shoot. It does not pay but 150$ but its something.(tru TV) SO FAR SO GOOD I HOPE. You guys need to relax a little, if you look hard enough you can find unhappy people with any buss. Mr. JJ has been very helpfull so far, try and give em a chance , Kredd

ok if ur a model and ur with get connected talent, my daughter is 9 and very smart, kyle was the one we spoke with and had workshop with and set up photos with jose garcia. Amanda is our rep to call for questions or concerns. So I ask u if you feel that they are real how did things go for you getting started? Ive recieved email,letters in the mail etc, Ive paid for the web,phitos etc, inequestion though after she git the money and we did the photo shoot, shouldnt we be able to access the website? Ive tried several times and I cant log on. We are still waiting for cds and photos but I have tried to go on website and sign in and it says wrong password-email?? So I dont understand that... I recently had the pleasure to deal with Get Connected Talent. I will admit that at first I was skeptical about the company, but after dealing with them on a regular basis, and being put in a client show case with scouts from Ford, Wilhemina, IMG,... I was very impressed. JJ did a great job in organizing the showcase, and in my opinion is an overall amazing guy! I can't wait to work more with him in the future!

Hi-- we attended the fashion show in Columbus on 1/28--it was a very high energy event and the kids had a blast---my daughter has gained a new level of confidence from this experience --- I keep looking, believed the show would be posted on You Tube -any one have any ideas ????

How long is the class on Friday night? Just need to make sure I have transportation worked out!

I want to sincerely thank you and the entire Get Connected Talent staff for doing such an amazing job for young kids who want to pursue a modeling career. As many people probably are, we were a bit skeptical about the legitimacy of your business. However, after our first meeting with you, we believed we were dealing with honest people. With our continued interactions, not only have we had that belief confirmed, we have also experienced everyone involved with the organization to be fun, positive, helpful, and encouraging.
My daughter has been interested in modeling for a long time. We were always told that you shouldn't have to pay a lot of money to any agency to begin your career. Yet, in our pursuit of opportunities for her, all we found were agencies wanting more than $1,000 to just get photos. Therefore, when we learned that Get Connected Talent was half that cost, we decided it was worth the gamble. Thankfully, it has been no gamble at all!
In two weeks time, my 15 year old daughter is going from thinking she'd like to model some day, to participating in a Get Connected Talent talent show, being exposed to and noticed by major modeling agencies in the industry, and planning a trip to Miami to interview for the possibility of signing a contract with a major modeling agency. Our heads are spinning and our hearts are pounding with joy and excitement!!
So, we cannot thank you enough for providing the opportunity for her to participate in the talent show. And when we were there, making her feel important, confident, and proud. As her mom, I felt like she was completely safe and respected and her well-being was a top priority. I cannot think of anything that could have made our experience with your organization more positive than it has been to this point.

My son and daughter have just recently started with gct. I have had no issues as of yet. The web site is very easy to manage and the pictures they took were incredible. Everyone has been very professional. I met with jj and was very impressed They have done everything that they promised. Well worth the money. In fact it was much less then the so called reputable talent agencies wanted. Also at the last fashion show that they showcased their talent in 87percent got contracts. Doesn't sound like a scam to me.

Thanks for the reviews ...now they migrated to Raleigh North Carolina selling human false dreams.....they want 500 almost for them to shop you.....Tyra banks quote " you should never pay and Agency money to work with you"

So There are mixed reviews is it a scam or not? Is anyone getting work from get connected?
