Ancient Egyptians had darker skin but they were not 'black' as we know black today. True blacks descend from sub-Saharan Africa, and this is where American blacks descend from as well. The ancient Egyptians were more likely Arabs or Dravidians, neither of which were black.

I know, it's ridiculous! Even if my ancestors enslaved someone else's ancestors, does that mean I'm responsible? NO! Does that mean I agree with it? NO! Could I have stopped it in any way? NO! Is it my fault in any way? HECK. NO. I have no clue if my ancestors enslaved black people, but I am completely against racism. It's not like it's my fault. I've learned about the terrible things black people were put through and it's disgusting. So why should I be hated by black people just because I'm white? I had nothing to do with it! I don't hate my Japanese friends just because their ancestors could have POSSIBLY helped bomb my country. Not all blacks were enslaved, and NOT all whites owned slaves. It is absolutely absurd to assume that I owe black people something when I had nothing to do with that and I don't approve of it anyway.

To add to that, it's also absurd to assume all black people act the same way. I know many black people who are very nice and respected and educated. I also know many who are not. It's racism to assume all black people think we owe them. It's like how some black people think all white people are idiots. I'm a very intelligent white woman, for your information. Many people also assume all asians are smart. Well, I know quite a few asians who aren't too bright. These stereotypes are crazy.
