lets get back to Frank Shoemaker, that other Godly man..after all birds of a feather flock together don't they? what will he do now that he can no longer earn 68K a year watching porn on the public payroll, or sexually harassing his fellow employees? I bet he will have a hard time getting a job in the legal community...I feel for his kids...

interesting comment you had. what i wonder about is what was shirk thinking by retaining the person you mentioned? moving him from one office to the other, does not take care of the problem...it only moves the problem from one location to another. but then again if that person had anything to do with getting shirk in office, maybe shirk felt he had to pay him back (like so many others) by giving him a job in his new administration.

like so many others? Shirk had NO ONE on his campaign. It was him and his family. He had no staff, no republican party support to speak of, his father-in-law was his one man sign crew and only had 35k in campaign funds. He owes no one anything. No political favors to anyone. Bill White had more Republican support than Shirk. Your argument fails miserably.

Shirk had plenty of support within the Republican party. He had one of the biggest Republican brokers, John Rood behind him as well as State Committeeman Rick Hartley. Shirk out-hustled White, true, but being a Republicans still put him over the top. Trying to portray any Republican competing for the Clay and Nassau votes with a Democrat as some sort of scrappy underdog story is dishonest at best.

You honestly believe that Shirk owed no one anything for helping him get elected? You are clueless.

does anyone know how he is doing and what he has decided to do now that he no longer works at the pdo?

never mind. i think i figured it out. his first name must be thomas. oddly enough he has no discipline record with the fl bar; the website i guess says he is clean. but for some reason he still lists the pdo as his place of employment. you would think he would update that info, no?

I doubt you care about his kids at all. Matt at least fired him instead of allowing immoral attorneys hang around and continue to draw a huge salary.

Yes, I agree. Shoemaker was one of his boys at the football game tables during the campaign along with that other Godly guy Will Durden of Phillips Highway fame. Whoever says that only his family was helping him is an idiot unless Angela Corey and the FOP count as family. But no matter...an opinion is just like a nose, everybody has one. But to say Matt is Godly is sacreligious

You obviously do not know Bill White as he is not an atheist. It is a real shame that so many of you who claim to be Christian are willing to bear false witness against this man who can probably out quote you and Matt when it comes to Bible verse. Contrary to your beliefs Bill not only can talk the talk but does a much better job than you could ever hope to do on walking the walk. It is too bad that you never took the time to really get to know him when you had an opportunity.

Actually, I do care about his kids who are teenagers and really need a better role model that what Frank has provided. And BTW I never met any "immoral" attorneys -- I don't know what you think is immoral but working hard in the office and caring about clients is not immoral. I don't think what anybody does outside the office is anybody's business unless of course it affects the job and that was always dealt with effectively by White.

carrying on an extramarital affair with a woman you supervise for over a decade is not someone I would necessarily call a 'good man.'

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Gemini

Mercury will backtrack through your finances over the next few weeks, which isn't a very seasonal thought if you're already well aware that you've overspent this month. Be prepared to do some juggling or to seek expert advice if you're worried about how you're going to cope. You may be kept busy handling inheritance, tax or insurance matters, preparing investment analysis, and allocating funds for the repayment or collection of debts.
