Michael is a scumbag. He wouldnt buy her any clothes. For her lunch, he would give her only a tomato, and she made the most money. He had a hard time keeping jobs. His dad used to slap his mom around a bit, and the apple doesnt fall far from the tree.

Obviously you know nothing about the murder victim, Effie. The only man in her life was Mike. What kind of motive would it be to kill her but not the child if it was not his baby? Wouldn't he have killed both? He killed her because he is a sociopath, that never loved her truly to begin with. He did not want to be married and had divorced her once before, only after being married just a few months. There is no rhyme or reason to why someone evil kills. They kill because they are EVIL!

Glad to see that I am not the only one that knew about Mike's dad slapping Cindy around. For the life of me I can't understand why the courts have no records of him beating her and Mike. EVERYONE knew about it. I guess if there was a trail of court records then it could come back to haunt them eventually down the road. Pretty shrewd, but then again Mike had to learn it from someone, didn't he? I remember Effie working two jobs and never buying anything for herself. Where did all the money go? Probably up Mike's nose! That's probably one of the reasons he could never keep a job.
