I will have to say I am somewhat shocked noshellswill, I never pictured you as a reading of the Drudge Report. Now I am assuming that is where you saw this story, I read it last night after work, sounded like a movie script; however the basic premise is very plausible.

Sounds like the script from "Running Man" starring the one and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Being an Arnold fan (yes, I admit it), that's the first movie I thought of after reading the article. Here's a short movie recap...

In trees it is called root rot.

It has been rotting away the tree for years and no on notices until the limbs start falling off, the tree crumbles and then falls over dead.
