Woman Attacked in Parking Lot in Orange Park

CLAY COUNTY, FL -- Investigators say a man attacked a woman in the parking lot of a store in Orange Park.

The robbery happened Sunday afternoon at the Target store on Wells Road.

The woman told deputies a man got out of a black Toyota Camry, jumped her from behind, and tried to steal her purse. The two struggled before he threw her to the ground.

The attacker jumped back into passenger seat of the Toyota Camry and the driver sped off.

The Florida license plate number on the car is BF551. It's stolen out of Duval County.

The attacker had blue jean shorts, a black shirt and white shoes.

Orange Park Mall is as bad as Regency. If Clay co had a Sheriff better than Bessler, maybe this criminal element would stop flowing down from Jax.

Well, at least they have moved from the mall parking lot to across the street. I will hand it to the victim, though...that is one of the better descriptions given in these types of articles.
