Student Stabbed at Oceanway Middle School

dude i hate how all the parents are like "oh this is the worst school in Jacksonville" when you kind of think about it O-way has about 1100-1300 students there is no way on earth that all the teachers can watch and make sure every student does what is told, ok !!!!! ive seen the fights, there are always teachers and administrates in the halls between classes and as soon as a fight starts they always try to break it up, no fight at O-way lasts more then 2 min without them knowing about it, they do their best!! also its not like they go to the school, all they are basing their opinions on are rumors!!

it was scary.
last year when that happend,

i knew who both of them!

Teacher? Do what? There is an issue of responsibility. In the day every boy in my grade-school carried his pocket knife to school. Why not ?

Oceanway graduate, it is apparent you try to type ebonics.
OMG, I hate trying to read the talk of ebonics.
I don't know if home school is the answer either, other than just being able to protect the child.

he must not have liked the other kid too much to shank him. maybe they'll be friends and make up one day, or maybe columbine massacre part 2 will take place.

I'm currently going into the 8th grade this year and the only issues that I've seen are fighting. The school does offer paddling students under parents premission. If you're think all this crap is true teach you kids self-defense then. I haven't got into one fight at Oceanway and only spotted 5 out of the whole year. Oceanway isn't as bad as you all think. I'm a current student so I know what currently happens. I know there's been a problem of some being racist but with the right discussions we might be able to resolve the problems.

OMS sucks and the teachers are bad, we never learn anything. Plenty of fights and lots of violence and immorality. Thanks for reading!!!
