New to Daphne, AL

My family has lived in Daphne for about a year now, and I'm moving down there to be close to them in the next month or so. I've visited a few times and know the area kinda. I was trying to figure out where some cool places to hangout are. I'm also vegan, so I was wondering where some restaurants around the area that are vegan friendly, and grocery stores that sell vegan products. Thanks ahead!

Daphne is a beautiful lil city. You can go across the bay and find anything you want. You can also go over to the casinos in Mississippi and see some excellent entertainment. There are many vegan friendly establishments to eat at. Take a short drive and visit historical Spanish fort.If you are buying property, be careful with the insurance, Since hurricane Katrina, Insurance is more like a challenge to get. You may still see some boats with oil on the bottom of them, Pay no attention. The government says that the fish in the gulf of america are safe to eat. Meet new ppl, the rough looking characters are generally shrimp fisherman so be extra nice to them and you will be amazed at how cheap you can get shrimp. By the way, I'm applying for a job at a travel magazine as a writer to evaluate destinations. May I use you as a reference?
