AllSmiles wrote: Ink industries or the place downtown would be my LAST resort. They dont have licensed artist. Its a whole lot of false advertising. All the work Ive seen from either place is pretty crappy. The one downtown is known for infections with their piercings and they spell alot of their tats wrong and want to charge you to fix their mistakes. If you are serious about a tattoo do your own research. Oh you must be the all artists from Badoo.

When I got my last tattoo, I talked with Kenny about an idea for another one I wanted. That was March and I have never heard back from him. Seems like he's to busy with other things. I will go back soon though, I need to have some color touch up's done on a couple of my previous tattoo's. I would like to find a great artist to help with designing a sleeve or half sleeve. U have to keep going up there cuz yea he is busy. There are people going up there all the time getting tattoos and its cuz they keep going up there.... He is the tattoo artist around.

The guys in Milan are good. They used to be part of Budo's in Jackson(which was the best) but some parted ways. Too Cool Kenny in Henderson is great when he's around. Heard ther was a guy named Dave, or something like that, tatooing out of his house. Don't know where to find him but his work looks good. Beware of some of these pricks around here. Their talent doesn't always equal their attitudes.

I don't see why anyone's hating on Ink. Pretty sure EVERY Guy in there is incredibly cool. Reid, Ron, Matt, Josh on occasion, and Alan are all cool. No one I've ever seen complains about any of their tattoos from there. Especially not true art from DTMB, He does bad ass tattoos.

I'm sure Ink's haters have their own sad pathetic reasons for hatin on cool guys with bad ass skills....they're prolly hookers that these guys won't give the time of days or wimpy guys that don't have balls enough to hate on them face to face, and prolly none of them know these guys personally or even have had any work done by any of them. Ink industries is the best and the guys there are so talented! The end.

grace wrote: I always go to Memphis, Trilogy is awesome. They have won tons of awards. Everything opened new in front of you. Screw that. I went there and they were RUDE and didn't give me what I wanted. Charged me $80 for a tiny star on my wrist. Plus they didn't even fill it in all the way had to get someone else to finish it. Shady.

huckleberry wrote: I always went to Domo's in Humboldt. I would only allow Domo himself to do my tats. He had a girl in there awhile back but I personally didn't like her work. Here's the thing. Domo is a good artist. EVERYBODY else in that shop has no idea what they're doing. I doubt any of them are even legit. Domo is lazy and if he doesn't know you he wont even get off his computer chair to say hello. He only does tattoos for people he knows or if he's interested in what you want. DO NOT GET PIERCED there, they hit a blood vessel in my lip and it was swollen for days, I had to remove the stud because it was so bad. Also, very unclean, not only do they constantly smoke in there, they bring their dogs in to roam around... bacteria central.

Tattoo Station in Milan is the place to be. They do great costume tattoos. BEAUTIFUL COLOR WORK. ALOT OF TALENT THERE. They will make sure you are happy with everything before the needle hits your skin. Great estimates as well. They use to do free touch ups with a small needle/ink fee. They are down to Earth and at the same time very professional. Not the common cold-shoulder tattoo artists. Their newer building is very laid back interior and will make you comfortable waiting to be seen. ATLEAST CONSIDER THEM. BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER: When you want a tattoo, you really should look around before actually deciding. Tattoo shops are like car lots, they pressure you into choosing them, normally if you call to discuss what you want they will tell you to "come down and see us" and will start sketching and making decisions to lure you in, DO NOT LET THEM. Remember it's YOUR skin. If something feels shady or just not what you're looking for--LEAVE! YOU DIDNT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM!:) HAPPY INKING!
