Ok this is the last time that i'm going to post anything on this page. Lottie E. was a normal everyday woman that was burried in Taylor cemetary. She does not haunt these grounds. I have posted a couple post before to have some fun. The things that have been done to Taylor and Lottie's grave is very sad. The bridge was closed for repair. The grounds keeper lives on the hill next to Taylor. He actually is a really nice guy. I've known him my whole life. There is weird things that happen up there but rest assured Lottie has nothing to do with it. That whole mith was started because of a couple of students that wrote a story for class and it took off from there. If you do choose to go there just look no need to do anything else.

Okay, I've been to Taylor Cemetery and I've found Lottie's grave. Nothing has happened. I heard from a few friends that that's not the actual grave that is haunted. To get to the real grave you have to go into the woods adjacent to the cemetery and cross a bridge. After, you should find a different and so-called haunted grave. My friends and I searched the woods on the far left and the top of Taylor cemetery... And found nothing. Next to the cemetery is land marked private property and it's like a pasture. There are woods beyond this pasture, and I think that's where this grave is. We are going back sometime and going to try to find this grave... I was just seeing if anyone could confirm this second grave? And where it is? Thanks!

This place is haunted. I went there on October 31st Halloween which is known to be the scariest day to go besides Friday the 13th. We layed on the grave and found scratches on our backs, we put a pop can down and picked it up and it was empty. We saw the horse drawn carrige and the white SUV type car with a white lady/ghost in the passenger seat. I can tell you this by facts it is INDEED haunted.

Lottie is my 5x great aunt, she was not a witch but a quiet old lady that stuck to herself, no one knows the exact origin of this STORY, but its just that, a story! People need to realize how much their ignorance affects others..

JLW wrote: I lived all my life in Sioux City, and of course, have been to Lottie's Grave. I've heard some of the legends about her, being a witch, haunting those that try to hurt her burial site, the lady in white, the creeky bridge, etc. By the way, the creeky bridge is gone! I don't know if it's been replaced or not yet though. I went out there once in broad daylight, and the only strange thing that happened was that I was leaning on the brick structure to the entrance of the cemetary, and my finger was lifted and released by itself! I went with a friend of mine at dark, and we didn't see any 'ghosts' walking around, but we happened to both look in my back seat at my son's carseat, and saw a baby sitting there, that we sure didn't bring with us!!!! I have also taken a drive over the creeky/whining bridge with my 2 dogs at the time (full grown German Shorthair and a full grown German Shepherd), and they both went nuts from seeing/feeling something that I didn't see or feel. Freaked me out to no end. I don't necessarily enjoy going out there, but I have gone. I also have walked up into the cemetary and have seen her headstone. It is in need of repair, as it's weathered from the elements, and also looks quite broken or chipped, probably from drunk idiots being disrespectful! I do believe she's in Taylor's Cemetery, and she's located straight left up the hill, and just over the top of the hill. I believe she's buried next to her husband and child? Not too sure. I have never seen her grave in the dark/moonlight, so I have no idea as to it glowing green or whatever. Just way too spooky for my taste to walk up there in the total dark. I had three friends that did tho. NOthing happened. However, the time I went in the dark with just the one friend, the next day, as I was pulling away from a local tire shop, my tie rod broke on my car! NO LIE! And a time or two I've been out there in the last 3yrs...my car always seems to die, just long enough to freak me out, then it will fire up again. Could just be irony. Who knows? I plan on going out there the night before Halloween though! Hope I make it out alive! LOL I am sorry but the bridge is still there drove across it myself just tonight.

My cousin was babysitting my sister and I when we were little. She and a bunch of her friends, took us in the car to go see Lottie's grave. We stayed in the car but they got out and tossed eggs at the grave. They all came running back. My cousin and her two friends was sitting up front of the car and we were in the back. They were all joking and laughing about it. They were drinking, too. It 1977 or so. We left there and as we pulled out of the area, my cousin screamed bloody murder. She said she felt someone touch her shoulder. We were all freaked out. We left and went home. She made us go to sleep. Nothing spectacular happened that night, but after that night, strange things started to happen in my cousins home. The crucifix/cross on the wall would be turned half way or upside down. Their family was catholic. Shadows would be seen and there was a feeling that something was watching us, especially at night. It wasn't just in our head. They eventually moved and you would think that it would stop. Truth is their family wasn't the same after that. Cancer and medical problems plagued them. They went bankrupt, etc.
