Jackson drivers

What the hecks up with Jackson drivers? Ive never seen a town where noone stops at a stop sign and God forbid they use a turn signal. Why arnt the police here doing anything about this? Ok your right I notice they dont stop or signal either. What a shame too its a nice place to live you just cant drive here.

I totally agree. I meet people on Greensferry, driving in the middle of the road and EVERYONE IS ON THEIR CELL PHONE. Give me a break, no one needs to talk to that many people. The Prez don't even talk to that many! Do us all a favor. Put the friggin phone down, eyes on the road, hands on the wheel and keep on your side!

Rhe sad thing is most drivers are not even on the phone, JUST BAD DRIVERS! I followed a man today that drove 30 in a 45 and NEVER used a turn signal once and ran 2 stop signs. The good things was he had a Riding with Jesus sticker so he was safe.

this is the first true thread I've EVER SEEN ON TOPIX! The drivers in Jackson are the worst I've ever seen, St. Louis, Memphis, Cape, Sikeston, combined. Pull your head out of your ass, put the cell phone down, drive on your side, and wait..... just wait a minute. It's not that big a deal. It's bad when Cape drivers are better than u. and YES MAME, IT'S FEMALE DRIVERS ON THE FRIGGIN PHONES. Put the phones down. You ain't that important!

LMFAO at WTF, thanks! I never thought Id agree with or hear anyone say Jackson drivers are worse than Sikeston drivers. I feel much more safe driving in St Louis than in my own neighborhood.

these people around here think they can drive and do whatever they want. I mentioned it the other day when a car pulled right out in front of me, running their stop sign. The jackson sherriffs department does it too, some laws just dont exist in jackson.

I think most of u r nuts, the drivers r not that bad, the worst thing I experience is people driving in the slow lane, but w/all due respect their are many businesses on both sides. We have a large elderly population (Go, seniors) who drive slower than most, so what, they r in no hurry or have plenty of time, so relax. I bet u all see alot of birds when u drive. lol

yes i really go out looking for accidents. Ive got a baby and people already terrify me with the way they drive around here. Then to hear someone say they will drive anyway they want because their ELITE doesnt settle too well with me. People are either crawling down the road and picking their nose or flying around town talking on their phones ignoring stop signs, speed limits and anything else that might cause them to be 5 minutes late getting somewhere. Maybe if they put down the phone while they were trying to get ready then they wouldnt have to put mine and my childs life at danger everyday. So no, im no ambulance chaser, just a mom thats trying to keep my child safe.

And Turnip, I am grown up. thats why I'm bitchin instead of taking up for itsmytown. U guys think ur Elite? YOU ain't crap. I'll personally start taking license down and callin them in. WOW, Im shocked! All I wanted to know was why cant Jackson drivers stop and stop signs, use a turn signal or pay attention. I am so glad Im not the only one who thinks pay attention when driving is the RIGHT thing to do, after all IF you hit me I will sue ur a$$ into next Sunday!
