Republicans are the only danger to this country we've watched this happen once, waiting for it to happen again.
Remember Republicans will do ANYTHING to stop the President from getting re-elected.

You continue to prove that you don't even deserve to be on the same planet as our beloved President and Vice-President.

"ashtune hair-suit," you are not even bright enough to come up with funny name variants. I would judge your intellect at around 3rd grade, but I hate to insult third-graders that much.

"alter" ... ROFL! Are you speaking of your "alter ego"?_8-) Or perhaps your "altered sense of reality"?

I will admit that Romney has a lot of courage when it comes to firing workers, plundering their retirement accounts, taking away their health insurance, and shipping their jobs off-shore (but of course not to the same off-shore places as his fat bank accounts).

In order to Vote for Obama you must believe that the Democrats had NO POWER in controlling the House and the Senate in 2006, but the Republicans can cause all mischief just controlling the house?

Since 2006 we have had the worst Senate in the history of America.

I think Mr. Tugwell meant to say, "The whole New Deal was to get the United States back out from under the failing economic policies that Hoover started."

LOL, so you know what he was meaning. I believe he meant what he said.

We call it the Hoover Damn for a reason, then Roosevelt repeated the same thing.
The new deal did not improve the economics of the US. It was pretty much in the same shape in 1939 as it was in 1933.

You couldn't judge it beyond the 3rd grade because that is your highest educational year. Getting ready to take our country back in November. Enjoy your final DUMBASSocrat controlled senate and white house days!!!

Yes, "RealClearPolitics" (RCP) uses an average of polls, which is an even better indication of the actual average than any one single poll.(It's a "statistical thing.")

"Most of them are 'left-wing polls'"? Really? Which ones?

In the past, Rasmussen has been shown to be biased by as much a 5 points for Republicans. Thus, we can say that, clearly, Rasmussen is not a "left-wing poll." Amusingly, today Rasmussen has Obama ahead of Romney by +2.0%!(Which, based upon Rasmussen's past bias, means that Obama is ACTUALLY ahead of Romney by +7.0%!

Gallup is fair. Quinnipiac and Reuters are better. I don't see RCP listing Quinnipiac, but they list Reuters with Obama +7.0% ahead of Romney!(Which would agree with Rasmussen's "adjusted" pool number.)

Do you think that "Fox News" is a "left-wing poll"? Funny! Fox News shows Obama ahead of Romney by +7.0%! ROFL!(Which agrees with Reuters and an "adjusted" Rasmussen!)

And isn't it funny that Republicans screwed everything up both times...pretty much just the same in 2008 as it was in 1929

Lots of US citizens used the word "Damn" when speaking of Hoover.

If you think that the US economy was in as bad shape in 1939 as it was in 1933, you simply haven't done your research, Bubba.

I usually do not mention this, for reasons of modesty, but I have a master's degree from a state university which is well-known for its excellent academic program.

The only way YOU are "getting ready to take our country back" is to the Dark Ages. Let us all hope that you are unable to do so, for the benefit of all US citizens, including yourself.

In the meantime, I will pay more attention to the well-know national polls than to your "dumb-azz-guess" biased opinion.

Their is no reason to argue with some people.
"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I am wrong … somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises.… I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started.… And an enormous debt to boot." Henry Morgenthau, Jr Secretary of the Treasure
In 1930 Hoover increased spending from 3 billion to 8 billion, Roosevelt then took it from 8-10.

DUMBASS State? I don't want my government to run my life. If you do, then I suggest you go to a socialist country! I cannot take my country back by myself, but I have 10% confidence that in November your DUMBASSocrat party will lose the White House and Senate. People were fooled by your presidential candidate in 2008, but he has proven himself a TERRIBLE leader; he is indicating he desires socialism in the USA; his narcissistic character shows he is only concerned about HIMSELF! He has self-destructed.....get over it and be prepared to go back to work and EARN your living.

You and Obama are both modest(ha ha)....you and Obama are both unclear when it comes to what college and what degrees you obtained....(state the University)You and Obama are both a few months away from being irrelevant. Tell me a University that says it is NOT "well-known" for its excellent academic program.(you are an insane narcissist) Quote from Dawg,"I am important, just ask me"

The Real Ironic thing is that the current policies of the United States is what lead to the fall of Rome and the Dark Ages.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
