Dairy Queen

What is up with the Dairy Queen not being open? We heard rumors that the health dept. shut it down is this true? I hope not I really miss going to the lake and stopping there.Someone could have a gold mine sittin there,you know they get business.I just sad.

I too miss Dairy Queen and some other nice attractions at Indian Lake. If Dairy Queen was closed per health conditions (as I also heard recently)I think there should have been a been a third party consideration or remonstrance generated or otherwise made by these other entities

Someone involved in the store operations ran things a bit south of the law, and the owners were forced to close. I believe Whitney is correct in that it has new owners and will reopen.

we have been to the dairy queen a few times since they have reopened and both times the service has been terrible and there has only been 2 people in there working. after the 1st time we said we would not go back but we decided to give it another try. we sit 5 minutes waiting to order(all the while the girl was to bust talking to the harley riders out the window to take our order after we had told her 3 times what we wanted) and it took another 5 to get a cone and shake and the cone was melting everywhere as the girl was taking other orders instead of taking care of the window. needless to say they wont be in business long with service like that. we will take our business back to sidney or bellefontaine.
