Has anyone else noticed that ever since he has switched buildings and opened the Knoxville office that he doesnt seem to care about the campbell co office anymore,He has had alot of staff turn over, and his attitude towards families has changed. And most of his staff is a joke, I took both of my kids there recently, there was no patients in the building but yet the nurse said they could not work my kids in, and they would call me when they could see them. The docs attitude towards families has changed he seems like he does not care anymore.. am I the only one that is having a problem there?

I don't take my child there, but I have several friends that do. I have 2 friends that have recently changed their kids to other pediatricians. I would recommend you changing your kids to someone else. I have 1 friend that took her son in and Dr. Hasnain said that he didn't have an ear infection, so she called his ENT doctor and they got him in and the ENT doctor said that he DID have an ear infection. I have been told too many stories like this from parents that take their kids to him. HE IS A QUACK! I know he is bad to tell the parents that "Jimmy will be better in 2 days". Parents need to take their kids to someone that will give their kids the treatment they need to get better, but Hasnain is bad to say "It will be better in 2 days". Alot of times it doesn't get better, because the child has some sort of sinus/ear infection and if you let it go it just gets worse. My friend called Hasnain's office one day and they had told her that they didn't have any appointment's and she called them back and said if they had anything the next day (for her little girl), and the receptionist told her to just bring her child on in. So, when she got there she said that they were nobody in the waiting room! Remember, earlier she had told her that they were booked, and they didn't have any appointments. So, don't you think if they were that booked that the waiting room would have been packed? Yes! It would have been! I have noticed too that since Kelly no longer works there it has gotten worse. She was really nice, and she tried to get the children in if they were sick. Until, parents quit taking their kids there this will continue.

Hes the only one that I have ever went to and I really need a new place that will actually care about my kids, I would like to find someone new in the next few weeks if possible... Im kinda glad Im not the only one this is happening to. now atleast i know im not being singled out

But since he opened the new office it went down hill for me, They said they couldnt work people in anymore. then I find out that he lied to me, I asked him about flu shots and he told me he didnt have any yet but then a nurse says shes been giving them out for 4 weeks. I have to find a more caring doctor for my babies

Try looking into Children's Clinic or Kid's Central Pediatrics in Oak Ridge or Dr. Blackmon's on Emory Road. All of these are great pediatricians.

I used to go to Dr Hood when my kids were younger, I took my son in 19 times to the office in 1 month because of wheezing & everytime she would tell me he was not wheezing just to bring him back if he wasnt better... I paid $15 every visit just to have her tell me he was fine, I knew he was wheezing & I begged her to help him, she did nothing... Finally after I left her office I took him striaght to childrens er they admitted him for a week with pneumonia and RSV with a o2 sat of 80%! she is not who u want to take ur children to!

Just wanted to say that Dr. Hasnain has been great with our son. He was there to see him in the hospital the first morning after his birth. He provided reassurance to my spouse and I who are first time parents with many questions and fears. He has also worked us into his clinic on short notice. The waiting room is never full, which is exactly what you want in a pediatricians office! No room full of sick children coughing on each other! No waiting! His office is very efficient! I realize that every now and then people have bad experiences at the doctor, but the truth is that he is a good doctor who cares for his patients. People often only post to these forums when they had a bad experience, which is fine. BUT, what people reading should realize is that for every bad experience, there are probably 99 great experiences that people have not reason to post on the internet!(except when to defend their caring physician)

He was wonderful and made me feel like the best mom in the world. But I have had to go multiple times with a new baby and a school age son and it has really went down hill. I hate to have to leave there but he just doesnt seem to care anymore and with the turn over in staff its been impossible to get worked in and I cant predict when my kids will get sick, I try to call first and they tell me that I need to make an appointment, or there is no one there waiting and they told me they couldnt work them in. even though when I walked in they (including Dr. Hasnain) were sittin around talking.

Well, not to be rude but.. My lil Princess was recovering from RSV.(Whic is another story in it's self deaing with those people) It was her first checkup after she was released from Children's. And there were severl kids there with runny noses, coughing/hacking and these kids come over to my lil girls carseat and start trying to touch her stuff. I guess, it's more of the parents fault. Not the doctors. I just hate that you have to wait F.O.R.E.V.E.R!!!

I know what goes on behind the scenes and how he really is! U might be one of his "private insurance patients" because when I worked there I seen him soooo many times make TennCare patients wait twice as long and go into a room to see his private ins. pts who were there way after the TennCare pts. I dont care what kind of ins. someone has...Human life and dignity are still the same and should be treated as such! And YES his staff is ridiculous.....Also, so he can save money....he hires people off the street and trains them as "nurses" so he can pay them very little. I dont want un-licensed, un-certified staff administering shots and medication to my children. And by the way guys when u change doctors expect to wait forever for a records release....You will probably have to go down there and be very stearn with them..Remember those are YOUR records and u are entitled to copies whether u get them yourself or have them faxed to another office....dont let them tell u otherwise....They will try. Some really great offices are: Dr. Blackmon in Powell, CLinton Pediatrics (not Lafollete)....Actually Pediatric Consultants @ UT in Knoxville is awesome..nothing like the one here.....

I too have had problems in the last 3 months....seems like when he changed offices and lost his great staff...it changed...I know Angie that worked there and she left...I think there is only a couple of girls work at the front office...and i feel for them because they are the ones that get all the greif of people not being able to be seen....But i know of lots of people that will be changing....I know that people has different things to say about this....But i think that you need to treat people the same.....tenn care or not....
