Just went in there for the first time the day before last, and I agree with you. Not only rude, but a bit dimwitted. Sorry, just telling my experience with the girl that was running the register that day. I was only in there maybe a total of 15 mins, and I don't know their names, but she had dark hair and the one working with her behind the counter is blond, and appeared a bit ... unclean. Oh well. It's the stores profits that suffer, not mine. Too bad. We really could use a thrift store that has decent quality gently used items and more intelligent staff/management at work. ** shrug **

I totally agree... I like the place and think they are quite organized and clean for now anyway. But as for asking them for assistance or a question, no use because they look at you like your stupid, and turn their nose up at you. Some of their stuff is crazy prices and some of it, its great! Its sort of a give or take.. But the rudeness isnt.. If they want customers to come back they need to get rid of whats there or they need to come to grips with their attitudes.. Its not like they are Neiman-Marcus or something.. lol

Actually, I didn't take their rude attitudes personally.. they have no class about them. Also, just helped make it clear to me that whomever owns/runs it isn't really that interested in having a thriving business, otherwise they wouldn't hire people of their attitudes and appearance to be their customer service reps. My money spends just as well elsewhere. Simple as that.

I was in there just this past week and actually overhead the lond dark haired girl making fun of the customers. Something to the effect that they can't afford to shop elsewhere. To me that is unprofessional.

To me that is unprofessional. My experience was the snarky dark haired girl using a disrespectful tone with another customer while I was waiting for my daughter to finish looking through dresses as I was ready to check out. There were maybe 3 other customers in the store at the time. When it came time for us to check out, I asked her what should have been a simple answer to a simple question but she had no clue so instead she used a rude tone to answer basically "I don't know". So, it doesn't surprise that you actually heard her making rude disrespectful comments about whomever, nor does the irony (lol) of it escape me. lol If the owner/manager were interested in making a go at their business the last thing they would do is put someone so ill fitted and literally ignorant in the position of anything to do with cashier/customer service, as her/them. No idea... Do you suppose either of those girls are the manager?(That would be TOO funny. LOL)

Apply for which position do you think? Seems maybe being ignorant and rude is required to work the position, so why would I want to do that to myself? Even more importantly, why would I leave a job that I not only get well paid for but love, to go work there, even if the staff were decent to customers? I seriously doubt they could make it worth it to me to leave where I am... How about yourself? lol

This is a good store for people that don't have many options for clothing because of their income. Shame that someone with a good job would shop there taking away inventory that could have used the used clothing more than you.

I have a good paying job myself and I shop thrift places for clothes. Just because I have a job doesn't mean that I want to pay retail prices. I work hard for what I earn and want to make the most of it.

Tell you what "no doubt", I went into a Good Will once and found an $800 Vera Wang in perfect condition, and bought it for $20!! I hung it from the top of my closet door, sat on my bed, and just STARED at it, for about a half hour I was so gobsmacked thrilled! LOL! As to you "ha ha". You're implying that by those that can technically afford to spend more that choose not too, are stealing from the poor. Wow. Not sure how to even reply to someone with such (intentionally, or not) an ignorant, and twisted logic... so I guess I won't. G'Nite.:)

LOL) From what I can tell by shopping in there the manager is a man and ai believe they refer to him as Jimmy (but Im not 100% on that). The sad part is that he is no more friendly than the girls up front. I go in usually once a week, but Ive learned never to ask anything. I just fend for myself. I also am not broke, but choose to shop for gently used items because retail prices are rediculous and I like to stretch my dollars like rubber.:)

LOL Ok, then shut it down and DONATE the inventory to those that are even struggling to afford thrift stores. This place is owned/run by a church right? Oh, wait...
