Women in politics still face old problems and prejudices

I have been going to the village of Mechaicsburgs council meetings for 4 1/2 years in that time I have seen a lot of verbal abuse the councilwoman take ,there is a double standard I have seen a councilman have a police vest on and direct traffic with the police car we pay alot for police protection so why is he out there? I have seen a councilman order doors without going threw council but one of the women brought in bids as your supose to and she was told who gave her permission, but the wasting of the money I won't get in to that now I just wish the men on council would be more respectful not only to the councilwoman but also to the residents I guess they forget who put them there sub

Yes, and this is truly a sad situation, because I think there is a great need for women in politics, now more than ever..

I'm a man, but this is my opinion: THIS WORLD NEEDS WOMEN AS BADLY AS A DESERT NEEDS WATER!!! It is only women that add any sense of beauty and any reason to live in this God-forsaken Hellish Earth that we have to suffer through each day. I wouldn't want to live in this world if there were no women around; could you imagine? It would be a savage brutal place- with only men around- getting into fights and wars over petty things, bringing their egos and power struggles into it and then having a showdown- and then it would quickly end with all the men violently killing each other dead, and the entire earth would be set on flames. Think about it...WHO does all the crime- murder, rape, genocide, homicide, hate-killings etc.???- MEN are 90% responsible for this!! That's the whole reason we have are so-called "heroes" of police forces, armies etc.(which are corrupt anyway) to clean up the mess that other men have made!!!! THAT`S WHY WE NEED MORE WOMEN IN POWER AND IN POLITICS!- only women can add love, peace, tranquility and understanding to this world, and make it a better place- B/c of gender inequality in the past- look at what the world has ended up today- a world full of bloodshed, suffering, violence and hate, why??? because men have failed miserably in managing the world- everyone knows the example of Bush and to satisfy his personal ego (a male problem) and confusing his personal ego with america's national ego and then ruining the image of americans when deciding to invade Iraq years ago. Would a woman get caught up in this kind of crap?? of course not!
