Mommy and Daddy of the punch boy must have money. The only justice in America is bought and bargained kind. I guess a life is getting cheaper by the day in greedy America. Pathetic

60 days for killing someone. you realize he proably would have gotten more if it had been a dog he had killed. i am very disappointed in reporters today. they NEVER get all the facts. i am left to wonder if THE ohio state university expelled this young man...probably not and if he played sports, definetly not. sad sad sad.

Maybe you missed your calling as a reporter. Although, it is morally right of you to capitalize THE.

Donte Stallworth (Browns Receiver) landed a cool 30 days in jail for killing a man with his car while driving drunk at 7am. MONEY WILL ALWAYS TALK.

mr. bewildered, are you saying a black guy would've received a harsher or easier sentence? if harsher, google jaered andrews. he got nothing.

i remember the earlier reports about this said that the guy who threw the punch got pushed first. did that end up being true or not true? if so, he should walk because the guy obviously wanted to fight. if not and he really did suckerpunch him out of nowhere, he should've received a longer sentence.

60 days???????? Who else supports 'an eye for an eye' approach ? Kill..., be killed. Steal.... lose your hands. Crime would have an abrupt decline don't ya think? ps. Please stop trying to make all issues worse by playing race cards.

This is very sad. My prayers go out to both families. Fighting never solves anything, it's easier to just walk away.

"Eye or an eye"? So he should get punched in the face? That's what he did, right? Quick lesson for you: A gunshot wound that kills someone is a direct action link. Person A shot person B, person B died from the gunshot, person A killed person B. He did not die from the punch, he died from the fall, indirect action. What if he slapped or pushed him and he fell? Would you call him a murderer?

"MONEY WILL ALWAYS TALK" you mean a lawyer? Yeah, a lawyer will get a client a (the most adventageous)sentence fitting the situation...let's not forget that this was a punch in the face, aggrevated assault that was followed by a freak incident. Are you saying you wouldn't hire a lawyer if you were charged with a crime? Do you resent all people who have money? Or anyone that would hire a lawyer for their college kid? Let me guess, you stump the "life isn't fair" mantra. I've got news for you, IT ISN'T - Get over it.

Terrible tragedy without a doubt but wow, many of you are utterly clueless as to how the legal system works.

Seem like when you kill someone these days its does not really get you into to much trouble,..if Stallworth can do 30 days for DUI Manslaughter, why not let this kid get on with his education as well.

Must have been Lite Beer because it certainly is a "lite" sentence. The world turned upside down.

HE WAS ATTACKED FIRST!!!! he comes from a poor family so facts, not money, dictated the sentence. had he gone to trial the facts would have cleared him completely but he didnt have any more money to pay a lawyer. i guess decent journalism would have cleared that up for everybody, but then nobody would read the follow up story. the kid, who simply defended himself shouldn't have to serve a day in jail. reguardless nothing will bring back the life that was lost. thats the sad part, not the sentence.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Libra

An emotional situation is as clear as mud today. You aren't sure about your feelings for a certain someone, nor are you convinced that you know what they're playing at. They may be saying one thing and doing another, and you might even suspect that they're playing games with you or trying to get what they can out of the relationship. Or maybe you're imagining the whole thing? Admit it - at this stage you simply don't know.
