Did anyone ever attend a card held at this venue. It seemed to be the place to be on Kentucky evening during the period of 1979 thru 1983. Their was many a great bout between Macho Man Randy Savage , Ronnie Garvin , Lanny Poffo, Rip Rogers , Pez Whatley and The Miser.

Leave any memories about watching the action here in this area. Anybody got any pictures they might have snapped at these matches?

Rip Rogers and "Pistol" Pez Whatley were my two favorites. I also liked Bob Orton Jr.

Does anybody remember when "The Big Cat" Ernie Ladd came to ICW to challenge Crusher Broomfield aka The One Man Gang?

I remember one time we were sitting in the front roll and one of the wrestlers got thrown out of the ring and rolled half under my chair, I was a 6 or 7 year old girl and it scared the crap out of me. I dropped my cup of coke on them and jumped in my uncles lap. It is funny looking back. I still get picked on over that, lol!

Yes, they came to the national guard armory several times even though I never got to go. The promotion was owned and operated by Randy Savage's Daddy Angelo Poffo who wrestled as the masked "Miser" and once held the world sit-up record.

I was one of the female wrestlers who was on the circuit with Randy "Macho Man" Savage and his brother Leaping Lanny Poffo. I wrestled under the name The Little Green Giant and my opponent usually was Jodi Dean. We wrestled a lot in Georgetown KY at the National Guard Armory. Does anyone have any posters or other memorabilia from that time? Please email me at sistervhenry@yahoo.com

Thanks for the memories ....
