Mercer man walks free after attempting murder?

It seems that the Iron County Police Department takes assault with a deadly weapon/attempted murder pretty lightly these days, or maybe it just helps to have family on the force? Hey, I didn’t want to have to go there, but letting the assailant walk the streets after stabbing someone 3 times, almost killing him, well it kind of makes you wonder what’s up, you know? Good job Iron County PD, you really did it this time! Oh and “great police work” on securing the crime scene and protecting the evidence. I guess they also thought it was ok to open the crime scene up to the general public already too, like it’s some kind of gory fun house or something, and I don’t suppose they’re charging for admissions yet, or are they? There was absolutely no police work done, not one police officer came to the scene, not even to see the victim off when the ambulance arrived. This wouldn’t happen anywhere else in our country. Yep, great job ICPD!

The point of the story, I believe Don also touched on it, is that I'm an expert, your an expert too Don, Denise, and even a 5th grader can be considered an "expert in police work" compared to the ICPD! Its funny. If someone hit you with a bottle in the head, what would you do to protect yourself in your own house!!! After asking the so called vic to leave. Here is what I read from the story:
Jimmy grabbed a butcher knife, approximately 8 in. in length, and charged towards “Art”, who in defense swung a beer bottle at Jimmy hitting him on the head. The attempt to stop Jimmy was unsuccessful and Jimmy lodged the knife into “Art”, once in the forehead, once down the front of the neck (missing his aorta by only a ¼ in.), and once in the back while the victim was down.

josh was not on the ground when he got stabbed in the back, this is a fact!!!

How would one defend themsevles when being cracked over the head with a beer bottle and wrestling with someone who is twice their weight? The portrayed victim in "Justice"'s story was also asked to leave multiple times. There are many views on who was "right" and who was "wrong" in this case, but everyone will have their own opinion and the full story should be known before forming one."Justice" has an offly one-sided story. Who attacked who first? The answer depends on who you get the story from.

First off Kim (Kim is Art, waz, the stabbed person) you were not at the scene and you did not witness any of this happen. It is all rumors on top of rumors. All the guys that night were drunk so nobody can say for sure what happened. Everyone is going to have their own little twist and bias on the story and to be quite honest, the truth will never come out. As for you Denise, the Kohegyi's on the circuit court you are referring to are the other side of the kohegyi family, not Jimmy's side. Get your story straight. If Jimmy wants to spray air freshener in his house he can, its his house. If you don't like getting sprayed then get yourself up and walk out the door, it isn't that hard. The story the stabbed victims mom decided to tell and post online for the world to see is completely one sided. she wasn't even there and for the guys who were there, they were drunk so they weren't all there 100%. As for Joy's Boyfriend, Mr. Petrusha being on duty, that just hapened to be. It's not like Jimmy was like "Hey I'm gonna stab somebody but only if Mr. Petrusha is on duty. He just happened to be dispathed to the call. Kim, you just need to leave the police work to the police. You are no DA, lawyer or anybody with some kind of authority. You fit right in in Mercer. Running your mouth about everybody when you have no clue what you is coming out of your mouth.

even though jimmy and josh may have been drunk and all five were drinking that night, the three witnesses were not drunk. two of them blew a .00 and one blew a .05 when given thier breathalizers by police an hour after the incident.

You all need to quit with the rumors. It's rediculous. Its pretty childish to go after Jimmy's family like that, none of that should have been brought up in the first place. I know them personally and there isn't anything bad that can be said about them. You all act like you know exactly what happened. Hey dipshit, you better look again on the circuit court website and you will see members of Jimmy's immediate family named on it for various offenses. Extended family as well as immediate. Get your story straight, dumbass. Jimmy is a problem to society and has always been. He was a troublemaker in school and out in the town. Why would someone defend a loser like that is a mystery. You must be at his level.

This is getting nasty and I don't know the story by a long shotbut it seems both guys involved in this need some jail time.

This should not even be online. Why the hell are you all out to hurt Jimmy's family? His sister can't do anything for him and she was out of town when it happened what the hell did you think she did from across the country? You all are pretty ruthless and I think if I were hit with a fucking beer bottle I would probably go into a different state of mind as well. Yeah stabbing Josh (because we all know the names and people involved so lets not pretend we don't anymore) was not the right thing to do but neither is gossiping about it and hurting the families.
