Mercer Senior Trip and Sex Education

Hey, what happened to the last thread? I can't find it.

UPDATE:
The Department of Public Instruction is now investigating with possible revocation of Schoeneman's teacher license. This would be the best scenario for Mercer and the school.

Why do you continue?
We would not like to start up a Topix on a Mercer teacher who is not coming back to school this year. Why is this teacher not coming back? Are there license or medical problems with this teacher who has a long term sub?

She has medical issues. Wow! That is really interesting, isn't it Fred 1? A teacher with a medical leave. Big news, ay Fred 1?

I wonder if Schoeneman would decide to sue the school if she should lose her license? I wouldn't doubt she would do something foolish and vindictive like that.

I hear that a teacher is having a mental breakdown and is taking time off from the beginning of the school year. This is big news when a teacher has a mental breakdown.

Would it be safe to assume that you have the same low moral standards as Schoeneman and Hiller? Mercer school has absolutely no place for people like that. This IS an important subject that needs too be addressed and resolved so that it will not happen again.

There you go throwing around the word morals and stanards. SO you are saying that if anyone disagrees with you, they have low morals and standards. You must be a bigger piece of work than anyone every thought. If you recall, Mercer Schools had a School Board member question the morals and standards of everyone in Mercer. That article was not a positive step for that school board member, the school board, the school, and the town. The world that we live in today needs teachers and learners. The world that we live in does NOT needs people to continue to dwell on the past; move on, and try to make the world better in ways that can be changed.

I feel the need to apologize. I recently heard the story from two very reliable sources regarding the issues surrounding Mercer school and have realized I had been mislead from the beginning. There is alot more to the story than the folks in town know about and it saddens me to now know the truth. Mercer school and the wrong-doers supporters should be ashamed of themselves for supporting those who made this class trip such a negative experience for these seniors. Again, I am sorry for doubting those who only wanted to make Mercer school a better place for everyone.
