I understand, but I was talking about sexual immorality, not falling away or backsliding from a religion. I'm sure you know Christians aren't the ones harming homosexuals like that.
Usually anything like that is a lone gunman or small radical element of some sort. An example would be the Aryan Nation's Christian Identity group. They have a Bible, but interpret it to say it teaches racial hate. They are a cult, not Christian at all.

How do you know that the murderers don't call themselves Christian and are following some biblical calling to kill them? I am sorry but they do use the bible to reference their hate and thus could very well carry out crimes against them. But doesn't the bible prohibit you from making a decesion on who is Christian and who is not? It does state that you only need the faith of a mustard seed.

Polygamy, in the old testament there was no prohibition on how many wives, in fact there were many reference to 700 wives and concubines as well.

As for your Muslim and women BS, you show me where Jesus says to stone adulterers or kill their children for dating outside of their religion. Show me scripture that allows a rape victim to have her child taken from her and put in prison at 16 BC she committed adultery by being raped but the rapist walks free. Justabout any deed or act, no matter how horrible or lofty, can be justified under the name of religion, and especially ORGANIZED religion. Most religion is not based on thinking, but on feelings and emotions, and with reason thrown out, almost anything is possible and impossible.

Most Christians use faulty reasoning in that they claim beliefs and attribute them to a source(their Bibles) that is the exact opposite of what they claim to believe. That inconsistency is more damaging to Christians than rather there is a God or not.

They keep Sunday for the Sabbath which is Saturday and is a sign unto God that they are his people. Jesus kept the Sabbath and taught it and the Holy Days and commanded his followers to do likewise.

Christians are not commanded to make up their own rules, whatever feels right to them, but to obey the commands, practices, and preaching of Jesus Christ.

Jesus plainly states NO ONE has ascended unto the Father but him. Yet most Christians proclaim a dead relative or friend is with the lord, in Heaven no less. It just ain't so according to the Christian Bible.

Christians keep the pagan celebrations and days or Christmas and Easter even though their pagan origins are well known, and they separate Christians from Jesus.

Little things like it ain't three days from Friday to Sunday morning should prompt Christian to research, learn the truth and turn from their wicked ways. Did Jesus lie about rising on the third day? Most of Christendom seems to think so. They also seem to think Jesus lied about who has been to Heaven. And Jesus speaks on these matters, not just the Apostles. Jesus above all others should be believed if a person is a professing Christian.

And it does not even get into who wrote the Bible and whether it is is well founded in truth, but it turns on what Christians say they believe and what their source states that is different.

It is like proclaiming Jefferson first President of this nation when the source relied on says Washington was first. It is deception, whether intentional by a believer or not.
