Decision in stabbing death case to come tomorrow

Maybe (and I'm just saying maybe) Kevin thought that since his friend Dan is black, he couldn't possibly commit a hate crime? Or that all hate crimes happen to be about race?? I won't pretend to know what he is thinking, but you are correct, anon, that this is all to common in the gay community. A Windsor man was fatally shot, very close to this same neighborhood for simply walking out of a gay bar. For some reason, this "possible" aspect of this crime is being kept very quiet.

It doesnt matter, why he did it. He did it. Over 130 times. If you knew details, there wouldnt be any of this questioning. Give me a fucking break already. I've been going over this all in my head everyday, more than once a day since the second I found out Chris was dead. What happened?

My fiancee put it perfectly, the average fight lasts what 2-3 minutes? Aside from boxing and such sports. Think about how long 130 times would take. Think about the mess it would make. Think about the fact that we never really "know" anyone. And now imagine yourself if you will, walking into your garage, to find your son, your brother, your oldest friend,or your dad, brutally mangled to a pulp, stabbed over 130 times, and tell me...you tell me, what you would say if the fucker said it was self defense.

I agree honey. I am frustrated. Pissed off. I wanted to kill that punk myself at first, but that would have made me no better than him. I've never had a close friend who was murdered before, and now I know what this type of frustration is like. I miss Chris every day. I'm not sure who you are, but I'd guess you're his sister, or someone else very close. I'm Trent's dad.

that's what I was thinking about when I first heard it was that many times. not only would that take quite a bit of time, but you would just be obliterating somebody by stabbing them that many times, regardless of how many different places you stabbed them.

I think there is one more "pre-trial" this week, then next week (23'rd?) I believe it starts. I will try to find out more.

Has anybody heard anything about whats going on?

i am so mad about this. i only knew chris for a very short time , about a month or two . i never knew anyone that this hapened to. i am in shock .

Cook will stand trial October 6 in Wayne County Circuit Court. The first degree murder charge has been reduced to second degree (what total bullshit) but the prosecutor is trying to re-instate the first degree charge. Cook should be in jail for life.
