Frankly, Pennsylvania as a whole would be better served if the idiots in HBG cut the business taxes and dropped some of the inane regulations.

Lebanon home prices building up (yesterdays headline)

http://www.ldnews.com/ci_13652877

Unlike surrounding counties, the median sales price of homes in Lebanon County increased in September, according to the Lebanon County Association of Realtors.
In September, the median sales price for 123 residential units in Lebanon County was $165,000, compared to a $158,800 median price for 82 units sold in September 2008. The figures are based on data supplied by Keystone MLS Network, Inc.

Blah, Blah Blah...Typical LDN fill in.

Anyway....Homes that cost more for people that are making less, and those homes sure as heck aren't any where in the city, I wouldn't take a home in the city for free.

Not even with subzidized housing (Section 8) and a governement garuantee that I would get 75% of my rent every month. No way Jose!

But, but, but...what about the stimulus Obama, Tim Holden and Arlen Specter told us would solve all our problems?

When do vyou think the job rates are gonna get better. You know I'm on unemployment for a couple of months now. I've been trying to find a job for along time. You know how hard it is for a person like me. I was in trouble 7 years ago I did my time. I changed my life completely around. I,ve been doing good for so many years and it's hard when I go looking for a job and you put down that you had a record you know cause I don't want to lie. I want to be honest with an employer. And the people don't want to hire you. It's sad cause its like double jeopardy. I just wish employers would give people a chance to prove themselves. I want them to know that not everyone that got in trouble before are bad people. People do change for the better. It's been a very hard couple of months for me and I stress so much cause I can't find a job. Just a person who wants things to get better and for jobs to take a chance on people like me. I'm a very smart person, I have my GED,took a small class on Microsoft word and Excel,I got a certificate for them. I'm a person who is willing to try anything, work anywhere. Thank yous for your time.

The local crooked politicians boast of low unemployment. What a joke! Can they do a study of those who benefits have been exhausted. oh, and in regard to the strength of local government & teaching jobs. Here is to our local tax base. NO GOOD PAYING JOBS & ONE OF THE HIGHEST TAX RATES AROUND.

Perhaps we need some more section 8 housing that the local politicians and attorneys own.
