Officers identified in Palm Bay shooting

To all of you who knew Aaron Zylstra, thank you so much for all of your kind and supportive words. His friends and family truely appreciate it. Most importantly, do not let this die! Keep voicing your opinions in the public eye. We will not rest until we get the answers. For all of you and your ignorant comments, DO NOT judge a book by its cover. When your day of judgement comes, stop and think about all the wrong you did in your time on earth. How many of the 10 Commandments have you broken? And how many years will you spend drifting aimlessly throughout Pergotory? Aaron will be remembered for all of the good he did and still does, how much his family and friends love him and how proud we are of him. Aaron was a gentle and kind man, he loved life and lived everyday to the extreme. How many of you fools can say that about yourselves and your BS 9-5 worlds? Get a grip and realize that if this situation was not the fault of the police, all of the questions would be answered. However, they are not. That tells us that the police may have f***ed up. To all of Aaron's loyal friends and family, please know that we will not rest until justice is served. Oh and to you fools tha have know clue...Aaron's friend lives in the area, he is not a " transient. " Know the facts before passing judgement...wouldn't you want the same bestowed upon you?

Is there any new news on the incident yet? I havent seen any new articles yet. You know to have the FDLE investigating the incident anyways just seems like a lose-lose situation I mean, I dont think cops should be investigating cops. I honestly think the cops did something wrong but nothing will ever happen to them because its not like this is a high profile case or anything therefore not enough public Attention on this matter. If it were up to me I would fry those cops. I know Aaron and I certaintly dont think he did anything to be shot and killed. These cops are trying to get a story put together.

It is scary, cops investigating cops. It is also scary as a regular citizen to question their tactics, to protest, etc. Their jobs are not easy,they have to be more than just cops sometimes and put up with a lot of stupid stuff however, they can be big bullies that cross the line at times and will do whatever it takes to protect their world. Maybe if one of them took the time out in a young person's life and focused on the positive attributes in that person's life instead of brow beating, etc. the negative in their life could be changed. But hey, that would take money away from the system (courts, etc).

The police in Palm Bay are out of control.
They enforce they laws they see to interpret in their manor and believe they are judge and jury. That is not there job and even if the man was doing drugs that does not give the right to levy a summary execution. this is not the first instance police in plain clothes
shoot citizens who either are or might be

and think they are defending themselves but
the police continue to over use tactics to arrest suspects on crimes that are in themselves suspect. If the law enforcement community doesnt get there act together there
will be repeat events such as those that took place in LA. You may think Im some crazy, trust me it is coming, law abbidding citizens facing police abuse only have to reach numbers sufficent to create a swell of opposition that
rises to the levels that create civil disobedience. Then the police will become the victims and many police officers are concienence and good people and suffer from the abuses of the few. And to those who think I am a crazy our country was founded on civil disobedience in return for the over stepping of boundries by a disrespectfull government to the rights of the citizens.

For all you idiot who don't know what your talking about, you should get your facts straight before you run your mouth. This crack head tried to run down two palm bay police officers with his car. He dragged one police officer for 100 ft and sent him to the hospital. The cop shot him as he was being dragged by the car. Why was the guy trying to get away, maybe because he was up to no good and doing drugs and breaking into businesses. The passenger in the car admitted that police did nothing wrong. Crime is out of control in this area of the city and the police are doing their job cleaing up the problem. This dirtbag as a criminal record a mile long and he got what he asked for. You try and kill two cop and then you say that there is a cover up by the FDLE, get a life. Palm Bay police are doing a great job cleaing up the trash, keep up the good work

Some people are so ignorant! First they complain that people are smoking crack and dealing in their neighborhoods. The police step up and risk their lives to deal with these "crack heads" that are literally out of their mind, to help make a neighborhood safer. Then when something is done everyone has something to say and blame. I think the citizens should step up if they think they can do a better job. But watch out if you do your job and someone doesn't like it you will be in the public eye. Not for all the good you have done but for the one incident that the public doesn't agree with or understand. I heard Palm Bay is hiring for all of you that think in these kinds of situations you could make better/ different decisions.

although i must agree that no one should have ran if they didnt have anything to hide.i do give ours palm bay cops some credit. but there are alot of other issues out there to burn our energy on.like finding missing people or instead of having hafe of the police force at the fireworks they could of been out stopping break in's..and other crimes.

Ok first off, you all need to get your facts straight, if you come to my car and are in street cothes in an unmarked car I will run you over too if confronted and, that is called self defense. Second I dont care about his drug problems, if he is not robbing somebody, the last time I checked, the punishment for drug crimes does not elicit the DEATH PENALTY.
The Police are notoriously crooked and is known everywhere except Palm Bay apparently.
And of course the police was getting dragged by the car they always are when the kill someone until OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the facts come out and he was driving off and the officer bumped his hand and got piXXed off and decided to kill that mangy varment who is hurting all of those people getting high, to the mans family

I once was stoppeed by a Palm Bay police officer for performing a uturn in a parking lot and then accussed of attemting to break into the buisness I did not even stop at.

Aaron man its beem 2 years man and I still miss you bro... we had so many good times. I still cant believe what happened 2 you man but the way those bastard cops down there act there was no real doubt that that would happen to one of us eventually. I love you man and I know you didnt do anything wrong. I'll never forget you man you were part of a very important chapter of my life and I am so sorry you lost yours. gods knows.I was framed at 16 years old i am now 63 i have not trusted the low from that day. when you see the way they lie. and evidence for my side was not found.so watch out for your kids. i asked god to take care of all that lied
