How can this mayor allow a Judge of the municipal court to give out pay raises when the city is in fiscal emergency and only give raises to HER people as in Security Bailiff John M, probation officer Melissa A, and ignore every deputy clerk in the office....
I know the employees in the clerks office have not had a raise in 6 years because of the money problems in the city, but Judge Weiler was allowed to give her probation officer a $23,000 raise????
Where is the justice in that!!!
I am a concerned resident and a very pissed off one too!!!

I know that but you think somebody or something could of stopped this. There are many women in the clerks office who should of been compensated for all their hard work. What does she do?, give one person a $26,000 raise and forgets about the other 12 girls in the office!Those clerks have not gotten a raise in SIX years and the one time the court has money so a raise could be passed along the judge gives it to ONE individual!!! That is sooooooooo wrong and I really feel bad for these workers. If I was one of those women, I would not be able to work for her AT ALL.... Talk about a kick and slap in the face...

pooper, the question you asked was how could the Mayor allow this. the answer is whether he agrees or not he has not jurisdiction over the decision and cannot stop it. wrong, perhaps, i do not know the whole story, was simply responding to your accusation that the mayor had been asleep at the wheel which is not fair
