What's the description of the boyfriend? I seen a rather young couple walking down the street holding hands, looking around like she was scared. She had on a red oversized sweatshirt and he had on a ball cap (turned around), looked like he had tatoos.

Thank goodness this story has a happy ending now that she has been located in St. Joe. Too many times these stories don't end well so it's joyous when they do!

another story of a girl who ran away to be with her man...maybe her parents forbid her to be with him and this was her pnly way...she left a note for her dad??...so if they say she was kidnapped, he let her text a note first??..makes no sense and I bet anything there was no foul play here and everything was consential..just wait and see

Way to be a cynic Mel. If she was your daughter I'm sure you'd be more happy that she's safe. Use your brain.

Mel... yes this is another girlfriend/boyfriend story.. but you have no idea of any of the facts. please dont try to determine why or how this all came about. Believe me you have no clue...

I have to agree with Mel here. While it's all fine and dandy she is safe, let's look at the story here real quick. She left her stuff in a car in Independence, but took enough time to tell daddy that she was scared? How exactly does this happen? I am thinking if it were a real kidnapping there wouldn't be a note for dad to tell him she was scared. Something does seem a little off here. And she was found this morning in St. Joseph at a house of a juvenile. Again, while she might have actually been taken there against her will, I am thinking she met a guy somewhere online and he happened to be from St. Joseph.

There is more to this story than I am sure we are being told. But she is safe, I think we can all agree that is the most important.

Well did you two ever think that he wasnt gonna take her until he noticed she was trying to contact her dad. No you probably didnt and im sure if it was your daughter and people were saying these things you would be mad so you should say them either.

Neither of you know enough on this story to make those sort of accusations. No, she did not meet him online. Perhaps while she was waiting in her car for the boy to arrive she found enough time to say she needed help, but not enough courage to call him directly. The news never tells the whole story, so before you go around and make up extreme accusations, make sure you know the entire story.
