I don't understand I guess. If the cars are not worth a carfax, WHY WOULD YOU BUY ONE!!! Any car not worth the $15 for a carfax, or 30 mins of mechanic's time to buy, is not worth owning altogether.
I fully inspect every vehicle I've purchased, as well as run a car fax, as well as take it to a mechanic. I've never had trouble with it breaking down the day of the purchase, or week, month, or even year. Is that a coincidence?
My definition of a "normal, smart buyer" is one who looks through a car and researches the history of it as well as has it inspected by a certified mechanic before purchasing.
And the "Don't be cheap" comment means don't skimp on things that could reveal problem areas.

Remember most of these are thousand dollar cars and that is being very generous with the value... People who finance the whole purchase price of a car don't have the money for "car fax" or a half hour of a mechanics time. Besides I doubt if car fax has records on these cars. I have heard that some of the cars are flood cars that insurance companies totalled out years ago. I can't verify that, but it sounds about right....

Whether or not their salvage titles doesn't matter. It will show up on the car fax and would be a pretty good reason not to buy one. If people don't have the money for a car, maybe they shouldn't be buying a car. Maybe they should have taken better care of their previous automobile. Maybe they should use other forms of transportation. If they can't afford the $15 for a carfax, or the cost for a mechanic to look at it, how are they going to afford to put gas in it?

It would be funny to ask for a carfax on any vehicle he has, none of them are worthy of the $15 fee or whatever it is. Another thing that is peculiar to me is I have driven by that place 2-3 times a day since that place has been there. I've never seen any customers looking at the cars? Please clean that mess up!!! Show some pride in your.......business?

Personally I have complained about that eyesore for a number of years. I wonder about the planning and zoning committe and the city inspector. Why don't they do something? I heard John Koschin talk one time about the violations of that junk pile. He said he told the city but they did not respond. Something stinks in this affair.

I'll say it again... If it's not worth the $15 fee, it's not worth buying. Period. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

Good luck getting that worthless Inspector (Engram) out to look at anything, I have been dealing with an eyesore in my neighborhood and he came out after two days, and still nothing has been done..
