Police reports Tavon at 17 - was a solid 6'3"/ and musta weight 200 lbs even for a skinny-assed kid he was...pisses me off,... all these magazines showing an innocent Tavon at 12 years old...he looked like a child. It is so very sad when people dont care that a 17 year old kid lost his life just for walking to the store. Since when does a neighborhood watch captain whom is not even a homeowner have the right to chase a person. Even if there was a crime in progress, a citizens duty is to call the poice. Zimmermans wanna be police butt took it too far and killed a kid. All he had to do is wait for the police and let Trayvon explain to the police what he is doing in his own families subdivision. travon.911 op. asked him not to. notice in the 911 tapes zimmerman stated;they always get away' this would suggest that he felt he had to stop him from getting away.
it is clear that zimmerman goal was to arrest travon,phone witness
proves that there was a chase.
if someone is chasing you without a cause,someone you don't know, i'm sure that you would feel threatened.travon stood his ground.
clearly zimmerman was not trained skilled or had athority to persue

zimmerman was not a police. he did not have the athority,training or any real reason to persue this young man. by phone witness account zimmerman wrongfully chased travon. notice zimmerman stated in 911 call"theY always get away"no doubt at all zimmerman tried to apprehend this young man,he did not have the training to take control of the situation.this death is 100% ZIMMERMANS FAULT

Once he was told to back off then that's what he should have done... But this clown didn't listen and once he decided to confront Travon he became the aggressor... Period! First of all, your hatred and open rage can be smelled through the screen. Secondly it was a 911 dispatcher that told him "he didn't HAVE TO follow him". There was no police telling him to back off. You guys are as always subverting facts.

Back off?? Zimmerman didn't even touch him, nothing (as far as we know) says you cannot follow people and it definitely does not justify breaking someones nose, slamming their head into concrete or threatening him/her.

This is a tragic case, but Trayvon was the one that started and physicaly attacking someone. Next time I walk in Seattle worst areas at night, should I just shoot someone that is behind me, based on your logic??

At the same time how many kids have been murdered in cold blood, random shooting or other gang-related crime in the meantime?? Most of this black-onblack crime. Should Trayvon have been shot? I have no idea. GZ says that he was assaulted and feared for his life. A broken nose and a bleeding back of the head makes me want to believe HIS story more than somebody who has no apparent injuries BEFORE Zimmerman shot him at close range.

If we remove any talk about skin color here, this case is, IMHO a clear case of self-defense.

Not gonna let myself be intimidated by a generalization like this. Likewise, I had nothing to do with this and neither did I ever do anythign like this. Even if I am not white, I am "light-skinned" enough that you probably would feel it would be right to "give it back". Hopefully people won't be charged with a "hate-crime" if they get assaulted by some "minority" since "they must have had a reason to act that way", according to you. Or am I wrong there? Let me get this right. First of all, he did not "get out with his car and shoot him" and you know so. Get your facts in order. Do you think you could get away with generalizations like that in court? That's where it will be decided, not in the streets. Secondly, so if someone is getting their "ass kicked" they cannot invoke higher force? So if grandma that is 80 pulls out her beretta and shoots a house intruder coming at her at night, she is a "punk"? Where do you draw the line here? Is there an age limit to being a "punk"? Compared to George. Trayvon was a kid. Bottom line if George who have stayed in his car. like the 911 dispatch officer told him to. no of this would of occured. yes i'd be on top of a man who made a point to get out of his car and pull a gun on me.
