We had ate at Cathy Ann's and always had great food. That is until this past week. We ordered several of teh 14.99 dishes. When they came it was a pile of noodles with this lump of stuff in the middle of it. I tried it and it was like eating nothing. No taste. Now if I'm going to pay 14.99 for a meal I want what I ordered. So I called the waitress over and said this is not good. There is no taste and the clam sauce is hard when it shouldnt be. It was like I was imposing on her. I ended up paying but I told them I was not happy with my meal. She said well what do you want a gift certificate? I said no, don't worry about it I just won't be back. And I won't. There are plenty of other restaurants in and around Benton that serve quality food and it's apparent that Cathy Ann's isnt one of them. If you are going to charge over 15.00 or a meal then do it right or close your doors. Very disappointed in your quality of food and service. But I won't be back to see if you are getting it right.

I quit going to Cathy Ann's about 9 months ago when I noticed their service and quality quickly going downhill. It's a shame because at one time it was a nice place to eat and had great food. Oh well, as you said there are plenty of other places to eat.

Cathy Ann's is my favorite place to eat and I have never had a problem. My friend used to work there and she said it was a great place to work and the pasta and the pizza dough is homemade. If someone was ever unpleased with the service or food (which was not very often) the owners would always give a refund. I talked to the owners a few times in there and they are great people. Give them a break. They are just trying to make a living. I think the food is delicious and I will continue to eat there.

Ever been to McDonald's and got the wrong food, or Wendy's and the burger is undercooked? Did you complain? Did you accept a free burger as an apology? Or instead did you go online and say that you didn't enjoy your meal this one time so you will never be back and it sucks and turned down their offer to make it right?

Cathy Ann's, I don't patronize because I no longer live in Benton, but this is a locally owned, locally operated business. The money they make goes back in to the community in the form of taxes and they in turn spend their income on groceries and other things in the city and county.

Perhaps your complaint would be taken seriously at the restaurant or in the form of a letter and they could *again* try to make it right with you...instead you post on an internet forum like an idiot.

Dear Stupid:
The difference is that if EVERY TIME I went to McDonalds and my order was screwed up, I'd complain, quit going there, and probably publish a complaint about the service/quality like I did (and many others have) with Cathy Anns.
Excuse me, inbred, but were you the original poster? Because that's obviously who my reply was directed to. I mean, obvious to anyone who doesn't change oil at Wal Mart for a living, I mean.

Oh, and retard, I thought I should also point out that the poster said they always had good food until this last time they went - making them an idiot, albeit not as big of an idiot as you are.

JIZ, why do you use so many different names? Is it an attempt to fool others into believing somebody agrees with you?

Don't know why I was rated off topic, nuts, and clueless. Just wanted to understand the point that Misty Jewels was making, so I could comment on the topic. This place is rediculous, and most of the people here seem to be cowards. Go to hell.

I post as JID, and occasionally as "ThreeOneFour," but only once. Sorry for being right and having someone equally as competent agreeing with me. "you idiot," please don't agree with me - if someone agrees with you, that means you are posting with multiple names

Did you get the word "albeit" from Jeff Foxworthy or did you come up with that one all on your own???

I am a waitress at Cathy Ann's. I am also the owner's daughter. My mother offered to remake the disappointed customer's pasta dinner but the cutomer refused. A gift certificate was offered but was refused. So my mother gave her a refund. We are sorry about what happened. We do care about our customers. Thank you for informing us about the service/quality. We will improve.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Sagittarius

Pay attention to your health as the Moon enters Taurus and your sixth house of health and service today; it might be time for a check up. With Neptune and Jupiter in your third house, nervous tension could be leading you into bad habits that will undermine your health. If you feel stressed out, reach for your athletic shoes instead of a double martini and you'll be happy with the results.
