I've been at Lakewood for 4 months and I just love it. Neighbors are quiet, new management is professional and the buildings and grounds are in great shape.

Do not ever move into Lakewood apartments. My cars and and patio furniture were vandilzed. The nieghbors are loud and horrible and the police are here everyday. Wild parties go on late at night and little kids run out in the streets during the day.

Lakewood Apartments?? LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THEM. Yesterday 3 undercover agents were across the street, then the St. Louis County Crime Unit showed up. When asked if it was drug charges, the officer said "oh no, its much worse than that, you won't see this guy around here again." My lease is up in July, I will NOT RENEW AND WILL NEVER LIVE IN AN APARTMENT AGAIN! They have continued to harrass me also, over one little incident, when there are much worse things they need to focus on. We are quiet tenants and they have harrased me also about not receiving my rent, when i put the money order in the slot!! I have never been late on my rent since i have been there. There is so much more to be said about these incidents, but.........you get my drift.

Isn't Lakewood in Jefferson County? Why would St Louis County be there? Unkown are you talking about the same apartments?

Lakewood has lots of section 8 housing. Lots of trouble there. I live next to it and have heard nothing good about it.

Hello, I lived in the Lakewood apartements for two years. The parking situation is terrible and yes, there was a problem with people breaking into cars, but they won't tell you that. I got a coffee filter full of mayo, ketchup, mustard and coffee grounds slammed onto the hood of my car too. There are a lot of screaming kids that run and scream through the breezeways and nothing gets done about it. The trash receptacle situation is ridiculous! There are also a lot of "potheads" that live in this community.

YUCK! Is all I have to say! These apartments are disgusting! When I first moved in, there was a wod of purple bubble gum stuck in the carpet in the middle of the floor and I reported it, they sent someone to look at it, took a screwdriver, pushed it around a little, said "we will make a note of it" and then tried to charge ME for it when I moved out!!!!! No matter how well you clean, disinfect or scrub your apartment on a daily basis, it still smells like garbage when you walk in your place from other peoples trash not getting taken out or them just throwing it outside their door, left for days or even weeks! They will post a warning on EVERYONES door saying trash is not tolerated, but thats a bunch of crap! This is the worst part: They hire a pest control service to come into the apartments at their convenience and the guy comes in and sprays chemicals everywhere along the walls and it doesnt matter if you have stuff on the floor or against the wall, they spray it!! CHEMICALS ON YOUR PERSONAL THINGS!!!! I watched them do it with my own eyes!!!!! DO NOT let the exterior fool you, these places are disgusting!!!

It smells really bad in there and there are cats that jump on the balconies and leave "gifts" for you

I recently got out of the Army and moved into Lakewood, i haven't had any problems. teens do walk around a little at night, but i used to as well as i was growing up in my parent's house, kids do that, i have yet to see any cars broken into, or heard anything about drugs. in 4=5 months of living here, one instance of loud music, and that's it...

They don't call it lakehood for nothing this place is a shit hole. We had kids living above us that were not evening 21 years old with a 2 year old kid that would run back and forth till 1 am in the morning. Management did nothing. We broke our lease and left. They could care less!!!!!!!!!!

I leave in the apartements and I have no problom. It is good plaze to liv. Plenty ove food to eat. It reminds me ove were I came from. I think people or nice and they talky to you. My room was cleen when i move in. They hav a place to take trash to also. Id has a pool too. 9035

This place is like the ghetto. Stay away...it is nothing but trouble and section 8 housing. I can just imagine what kind of crap is in the pool there.

I'm going to be honest. I live in Lakewood and i have for about seven years. This is a terrible place. Bad management and you worry about being robbed and killed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Its loud, dirty, and just terrible. People leave their children outside all day and don't care. Then, they get upset because you didn't watch them. Great place huh?
