I think I've got it - the driver must have been confused...

They should have been heading the OTHER way! Going to Wisconsin for Spring Break? Are these reporters sure they were not coming BACK to Wisconsin FROM Spring Break on the Gulf Coast?

All kidding aside, I sincerely hope the remaining victims a speedy and complete recovery, and pray for the deceased. What a horrible tragedy.

To "SICK OF CRIME" you are a horrible unsensitive person to writer such a thing when the report itself was not even accurate! These boys were run off the road. How dare you make such a judgment comment and then post it for all to see. There are 7 families in WI devestated by this tragedy searching the news and franticly awaiting contact from Emergency Departments with updates. I pray that other strangers from Missouri are treating my brother and the young men with more sensitivity that you have shown.

I want to express thanks to the emergency crews that did their job to get all the young men out of the van and transported. The families of the victims appreciate and thank you for all you do. We are anxiously awaiting our loved ones return home.

If you don't have any kind words to show concern for those in the accident, keep it to yourself. I'm sure that you will get yours in the end. Our prayers go out to all of those affected by this accident.

To the victims and families of the victims,
I recently had a member of my family killed in a car accident. I went on here and had to endure the same disrespect that people show when they are not closely involved. People jump to conclusions, make assumptions when they have no idea what happened and say some pretty awful things. Unfortunately, that it the way it is.
I just wanted to let you all know that everyone involved is in my thoughts and prayers.
May you find peace.

To the families in Wisconsin, please do not judge all of us from Missouri as being heartless. I guess some people just haven't had there card called yet. I guess they haven't been put in that situation yet, so far from home and this happens. To the families of injured victims, we have some mighty fine doctors in Missouri, extra prayers are being said. Sorry this happened so far from home. Gods be

I drove by just as they were loading one of the victims in the ambulance; my heart just broke. I wish I could get in touch with the family to see how I could help them. My prayers are with the victims and their family. The scene was horrific.

My husband and I passed the accident on the way to church. We began to pray for all involved. It was very sad to see the victim who died just laying on the ground with a sheet. Praying for all.

I pray for all of the families of the victims. I know exactly how it feals to have someone injured or killed in a motor vehicle accident, I lost both of my parents in separate accidents. It's really tuff, I hope you hang in there and know god is watching over you and the victims.

Thank you to all in Missouri who have expressed your thoughts and prayers. It is most appreciated. This is a tragedy and that it happened so far from home makes it that much more difficult. And, a special thank you to the emergency workers.

My wife and I came upon the scene and just at the appearance and the condition of the vehicle we also began to pray for the occupants. This is the link to the Missouri Highway Patrol site and it is just to the point but its the official account from victims and witnesses. I am very sorry for the loss and the grief experienced by these families. http://www.mshp.dps.mo.gov/HP68/AccidentDetai...

My heart goes out to the families involved. Whether these kids were run off the road or not, they hit that guard rail doing 90 mph. The speed limit through there is 70 mph. We don't know exactly what happened. We can be grateful that 4 of those kids WALKED away from that van. 2 needed medical treatment and are still in the hospital. It's very unfortunate that one of them was dead on the scene. :-(
