Why do people show loyalty to their abusers. I believe there is a medical term for it....it is an illness.

So maybe a little bit of both.... but her sickness is still not a defense. We all are pretty clear that eventhough she almost died and he stabbed her all those times and collapsed her lungs and permanantly disfigured her you dont think she was victimized. He picked her just as much as she picked him and birds of a feather flock together.

The questions you ask have all been answered in the "Domestic Violence" pamphlet at your local goverment offices. Probably also available all over the internet. Excuse me if I seem a bit calous but you seem to be excusing his actions at every turn and blaming Heather Cole at every turn. I guess it is to be expected from his own.

I will give u this though... I'm no outsider when it comes to the domestic violence routine. I have an uncle who everytime he gets drunk beats women. Do I agree with it, NO! A few months b4 the stabbing in my home, I sat at a picnic table in this uncle's yard, his girlfriend at the time came and sat by me. She started talking to me about it trying to get my pity. Did she get it, NO! I told her these exact words "You know what hername I don't pity you cause you keep coming back for more, you know he isn't going to stop"
That was the last time I saw her.

So how many times has your own family showed Heather the pity she desired? I showed her none. How many times had your family fueled his fire? My family never did. I met her after the incident and I was not at all impressed. Didn't take me long to pick up on her sickness. She will be beat by men forever and I told her that, she agreed.

One thing about domestic violence it's a 2 person play. I also found out in the aftermath that he had a X-wife that he also beat she must have not had the sickness because she got away from him.

So you put 2 people driven by the same desire together and this is what the end result is. Had he done this in the privacy of his own home or even in my front yard I would have not gotten involved as I tend to stay out of Domestic Violence situations because I have no pity. However he didn't stop in my front yard! He dragged people into it who are not driven by the desire for domestic violence and drama and trauma. We didn't want to be the audience we were forced.

OMG I watched him do it. I know the real story. I have no reason to lie as I never met either of them before in my life. I assume you were in court and were paying attention to the EYE WITNESS acounts of that night from SEVERAL witnesses. The DNA that was left all through my home was quite a bit of proof also.... The police were called to the scene b4 it even happened and back to the scene when it was happening. I heard the 911 call playback not sure if you did but was pretty obvious by my frantic voice on the phone to the dispachers that something pretty wild was going on. The identifications from the eyewitnesses all picked your dad! It happened I assure you weather you want to believe it or not it happened.

OK and about the not hurting intentionally. He said to my husband as my husband tried to push him back out of our home. "I AM GOING TO KILL THAT BITCH and if you dont get out of my way I AM GOING TO KILL YOU TOO" as he was brandishing a knife covered in blood and swinging it at my husbands face. As I heard this being said I see a girl come through my kitchen with blood spraying out of her body and her shirt covered in blood saying he is trying to kill me help. She almost collapsed there but made it to my bathroom where she colapsed on the toilet. She got back up and started to walk again in a daze. He found her again in my hallway where he foribly threw her up against a wall and continued to stab her. I was watching down the hall to make sure my husband got out safe with my daughter I saw my daughters eyes at that moment SHE WAS HURT! I WAS HURT! MY HUSBAND WAS HURT! HEATHER COLE WAS HURT!!!!!

Yes I have a whole roll of film worth of photos and a video walk through of the scene in the aftermath. Even have a few photos of Heather Cole in the hospital that were taken like 2-3 days after the attack. She requested that I not show the photos with her in them. So I dont have the rights legally to post those. Those were taken in an attempt to give my daughter some closure. The entire visit to the hospital was for that same purpose. It was a wasted trip but worth the effort imo.

I know what Mr. Brutcher did was wrong. It is clear to most everyone. However, it is also clear he was out of control when he did his outrageous acts.

I'm quite late in finding this thread and quite late in posting. NOPE, Snitch is simply telling it like it is. He's not been overly bad in his posts. As he said, he's not being emotional about any of this.

I know this family well. There are many good and some bad. The issue is the family bond that they will back up family members no matter what. They will stick together. They will defend their own knowing well that the family member is often wrong or using poor or immature judgement. They will tell you that God agrees with what society sees as immature, immortal actions. Fault never , ever is admitted from a brutcher. Problems are always the fault of someone else. I have been threatened by a brutcher. One that only sees one side of a story. And in brutcher style he threatened to kill me. The entire family tree is not sick but some limbs of it are barbaric, selfish, evil, self righteous, hypocritical, assholes.
