who gets life in prison plus 109 years for not murdering someone i never heard anything like it. i think its bull george brutcher had no defense and they wouldnt let him call his witness's to the stand after they told brutcher that "they will get them to come up for him," which never happen. they just had it out for him and they got what they want. i dont agree with what he got.

What did he do? The sentance makes no sense anyway cos a human can't live that long.

exactly my piont who gets that much time for not murdering someone? it aint right. theres people that attemt a murder and only get 20 years. its not like george brutcher sat down and planned it out he just did it out of rage. shes not a great person either shes had her share of being in trouble and prison. they act like george brutcher is the worse one in missouri.

Judged:
1 You should also know that the person posting as brutcher, I believe from reading other posts of hers in another thread, is a relative of his who also has had some trouble with the law. Seems to be a severe anger problem with this family. Which is why it IS right he gets such a sentence. He cannot seem to control that rage which makes him a grave danger to society. The reason for the sentence is the stupid sentencing laws here. Life does not always mean life. 20 years can mean 10. This way, he stays in and is no longer a menace. |

May aswell sentence him to death instead of giving him a purposeless exsistance behind bars.

Oh I couldnt agree more. But of course, he did not commit a capital offense, by law.
By the way here is the sentence breakdown, according to the Arnold Leader newspaper: first degree assault charge= life 2 counts of first degree burglary= 15 years each consecutive with other sentences victim tampering=7 years first degree assault again (for another instance)=15 years unlawful use of a weapon=3 years five counts of armed criminal action== 25, 10, and 3 5 year sentences-consecutive and three other charges from a different attack on the woman for another 4 years. felonious restraint= 4 years resisting arrest= 3 years second degree assault on a police officer=4 years Prince among men dont you think. |

>hey listen here bi*ch.... you don't know jack sh*t bout what the fu*k your talking about<
Ahhhh your intelligence just shines through with your vocabulary. >IT WAS MUCH NEEDED!!!!(she deserved it)< Sorry dipstick, that is NOT how our society works. We don't just go out and kill whoever we think "deserves it".(or slash their tires) However we DO give long prison terms to those who "deserve it" >MOST OF THOSE CHARGES DIDN'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING WITH THAT DUMB A$$ LADY!! < Which just goes to show the type of person George Brutcher is. This was not a one time incident. He apparently has a history. |

IF PEOPLE WOULDNT HAVE FU*KD WITH HIM HE WOULD OF BEEN JUST FINE ! IF YOU FU*K WITH A BRUTCHER YOUR PRETTY MUCH DONE FOR, YOU JUST DONT FU*K WITH US ! THATS THE WAY WE WERE BROUGHT UP, IF YOU FU*K WITH ONE YOU GET US ALL !
HOW BOUT' YOU DONT SAY ANYTHING ELSE BOUT' HIM LIKE THAT? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME ... |

Yes of course, it is someone elses fault that he tried to kill that gal. Of course, how silly that we didnt see that. You know, I grew up with George. Had a sister Sharon I think. She seemed ok. Hmmm. Of course he never was quite right. And that is NOT meant as a dig, just a truthful observation. So I guess I am a little confused. You say he did do the things he was accused of, but you say she deserved it. Then you say that people shouldnt have f'd with him. So I suppose what you are telling us is that the big bad Brutchers should be able to do whatever they want and NOT have to pay the piper? |

Brutcher, was that a threat? Some more Jerry Springer candidates, no doubt. Can't even write without cussing....he should feel right at home where he's going. Maybe he'll get lucky and another inmate will shorten his sentence, save the taxpayers some money. Next time you visit him why don't you just ask for the next bunk up?

Here's what the Journal had to say:
" Suburban Journals Editorial: Brutcher gets just rewards for cowardly acts Jefferson County Journal,Meramec Journal,News Democrat Journal 09/17/2006 Like all men who physically abuse women, Brutcher is a cowardly individual who feels the need to prove his manhood by abusing other people incapable of defending themselves. In Brutcher's case it was his ex-girlfriend, Heather Cole, who he kidnapped, punched repeatedly and eventually stabbed 17 times because she had the audacity to try and leave him. After being attacked by Brutcher in June 2004, Cole obtained a court order of protection against him. Not to be deterred, Brutcher ignored the order and, after being bailed out of jail by a relative for the first attack, proceeded to hunt Cole down at the home of a friend where he kicked in the door and began stabbing her repeatedly with a hunting knife. Cole fled to the house next door, but Brutcher followed, kicked in that door and continued the attack. Prior to the attacks on Cole, Brutcher was also charged with second-degree assault on his ex-wife. When being arrested for the second attack on Cole, Brutcher proved that he fully recognized the gravity of his actions when he reportedly told police, "I'll get the death penalty for this." But despite having a pretty good idea of what fate awaited him at his sentencing on Monday, Brutcher sobbed like a child when Judge Gary Kramer imposed a sentence of life in prison plus 109 years. More than likely, Brutcher's tears were for himself--a self-indulged pity-party for poor George who got caught and now has to pay the price. Judge Kramer is to be commended for recognizing the absolute brutality of Brutcher's actions and seeing to it that he will never walk the streets again. Assistant Prosecutor Steve Jerrell is also to be commended for his handling of the case. As for Brutcher, one can only hope he lives a long life behind bars so he can have plenty of time to think about the freedom he will more than likely never enjoy again. As the saying goes, "Good riddance to bad rubbish." |
