This is such a touching story and a smart little girl.

Today I logged on to Face Book and once again they are raising money for school supplies for the children in Haiti.

I have nothing against children or charity but charity begins at home!

This family right here in our own backyard could use the same help.

Its DISCUSTING this young lady having to do this. Totally unacceptable.. BEGGING ON TV!!! And mom and dad right there acting so proud. How utterly useless can you be standing by while you child sells her toys and BEGS on public TV for school supplies?
If mom and dad cannot DO THEIR JOB and care for their own kids then they should be removed by child welfare and given to somone who wont MAKE THEM BEG for school supplies.

Fox 2 you really need to do your research before you post untrue stories. This was my parents house before we sold to this family we sold this house to them ten thousand dollars cheaper than what all the other houses were going for in the subdivision at the time. They say they have termites the truth being there was one board that had termites and my family paid 750.00 to have the whole house treated with a lifetime warranty before we sold it to them. This house passed every inspection. We bent over backwards to help these people out and they walked all over us please do not believe these scammers.Fox2 news very dissappointed.

Nothing is worst than a child not knowing what tomorrow will bring. True or False, she is not out there robbing folks for any extra money or stealing, at least she is trying to sale something for the money. People can be so freaking mean; if you don't believe it then just dont comment Geeze!!!

There was no wiring damage in this house when these people moved in. The termite problem was fixed before they moved in and a life time warranty for any future termite problems was purchased for these people. These people have the termite warranty in their possession. Perhaps, the reason they cannot have it fixed is because the holes in the walls were not caused by termites, but by their 2 boys. According to a school source, the boys have put numerous holes in the walls from fighting. I knew immediately this was a scam. The children may very well need schools supplies. The family may very well be cash strapped since the father lost his job. It would be truthful to say they need money due to a job loss. To say they need money because of "wiring damage" and "termite damage" is a lie. When you make statements that are not the truth, we call it a lie. I wonder if the children are aware? These parents are teaching their children how to live off of the system and how to mooch from others. This is truly a sad story. There are alot of people struggling to make ends meet right now, and they are doing it honestly.

If you are really a reputable news station you will do a follow up story on the true condition of the house when the family bought it, even if it ruins your heart felt angle.

If my mother was alive today, she would be shaking her head in disbelief. She put her heart and soul into that house. My parents both died, so we had to sell that house. The house passed all inspections, to say the house was in bad shape is a lie. The parents shouldn't use kids to make people feel sorry for them. We all are having a hard time in this economy, but this is a disgrace to my hard working parents name.

HOW DARE YOU SAY RUDE THINGS ABOUT THESE INNOCENT CHILDREN!!!!! Those little boys do NOT fight and put holes in the walls! These kids all have the biggest hearts ever! Say what you want about the parents, but these kids are innocent and so sweet! Most kids bicker with their siblings but they are NOT VIOLENT!! No child is perfect! And you can't pick your family. These kids are obviously trying to do what they have to, to not live off the system. If they were living off the system completely, they would have no need to do this!

Just an fyi. This family has gone through hell! Not only have these children had to grow up with both parents not being able to hear, but they have gone through hell. Could you imagine having to tell your child that their brother will never come home? Ya, thats right, they lost a child. He has leukemia and passed away. So say what you want about this family, but know, that you don't know everything! Unlike most kids when they come home from having a bad day, they can't just sit down and talk with their parents as easily as most kids. Every Ella goes, she has to take the responsibility of having to help her parents communicate.

As someone who has known this family, intimately, for several years, I would like to clear up a few things. Both of the parents have been through very bad times. It is true that the father has not been a steady worker, but that comes from a combination of fear and mistreatment by employers and/or co-workers. Believe it or not there are cruel people in this world. As someone who was raised by deaf parents, I know this all too well. When people came to their sale, they had a choice to make. Buy or not buy. There is no scam in that. They may have used the media to gain buyers, but Ella stated that herself in the interview! What people took away from the interview is of their own making. Please don't judge others until you have not only walked in their shoes, but lived their lives as well. I, too, hope that all of the kind words, donations, and outpouring of kindness will be used for the benefit and welfare of the children, as well as show them that they don't have to be afraid of everyone, especially the hearing. God bless you, Ella.

When you watch the news, you expect to get accurate information and not a one sided story. The family who sold this house had the Termite problem fixed and the buyers knew what they were buying when they did. A $10,000 discount on the house was given to fix repairs needed. I feel very sorry for the family not having the means to make ends meet and I feel the girl did a very grown up task, but Fox 2, please make sure your story is accurate before posting it on national Television.

I feel for Ella and her brothers becuase of the adult circumstances that especially Ella has had to deal with, but there is more to this story than what is being told. Fox totally dropped the ball on this one and did not tell the whole story. .

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
