Woman critically injured in Pacific Beach accident
Full story: The San Diego Union-Tribune
The woman was getting out of a car that had stopped on westbound Loring Street at Cass Street about 5:10 p.m., said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

If anyone has information on the status of Melissa please let me know. I was at the scene and stayed for a long time with officers and paramedics. I am really curious of her condition. If anyone knows anything I would be so grateful for you to pass it on. Thanks

We live a block away and we talked to the people at that 711 and they told us she passed away |

She's still in the hospital in critical condition.

Her name is actually Michelle. I was the first to respond when it happened. She was bleeding from her ears and nose so it was not looking good. I tried to revive her by calling her name and rubbing her back but she was unresponsive. She lost at least a pint of blood and there was a few times I had to check her pulse. I am unable to find any info on if she is alive or if she has passed so I am guessing she is still alive.

Her name is indeed Michele. She is still in a coma with brain swelling.

Anyone with updates, please let us know. Many of us who were there after it happened really want to know how she is doing. I am her age and am praying she makes it through this. My prayers also go out to the families and the driver. Any update helps.
