I have two kids by different men. I am now married we both work. And yes I get foodstamps. Just because you get foodstamps doesnt mean you get a ton of them we get just enough. There is a criteria on how to apply. If you dont meet the requirements than by golly they dont approve you for them if you know anything at all. anya we get medicaid as well because I refuse to pay 1500 dollars a month for damn health insurance for my family when thats 3/4 of what I make alone. On top of a 3bdr home easily 800 a month another 200 to 300 for food for what foodstamps doesnt cover. Our vehicles and car insurance things for my baby and older child electricity bill heat bill phone bill cable bill water bill etc..... So not everyone who gets help is a scumbag. We just need a little help to make ends meet. So you people who act like your better go fuck off.

We raised three kids on only my income (my husband couldn't find a job in his field) for about 10 years and never once did we even attempt to get aid. Yes, things were tight for a few of those years, but we all survived very well and we bought a house as well. He was in his late 50's and also being an Electronic Engineer didn't help....nothing in his field around here at all. Since he is now in his late 70's, guess it doesn't matter now, does it. Also, if he was a scumbag like yourself, then he wouldn't have had any problem taking money from the system. Besides the fact that my salary was good enough to support our family...we both happen to be highly educated and can demand high salaries.
