Ilion Little League is such a joke, all the good kids get put together, while the kids who arent so good all get stuck one team, these poor kids keep losing, how is that building self esteem, when they dont only get beat they get creamed everytime, but then again like anything in this town it is all who you know!!!!!!

Umm my son is on little league and his team has some pretty good kids ad some pretty crappy kids like ALex he's okay and he never hits but he got a home run . How about the yankees they have some sucky kids on there and some kids as good as landry. The cardinals got a mixture of good and bad players. The tigers got an awesome pitcher Brandon but they got some. Horriable kids it's a mixture of good and bad kids this year.
Good one

Parents need to keep the hell out of the management of Little League. This belly aching happens every single year. Of course you all think your darlin boy is the next A-Rod. What a fantasy world you live in. This is funny to watch.

Everyone just needs to go to the games and support the kids on both of the teams, my god they are kids. They are out there having fun. You are all fighting like a bunch of two year olds. Let your kids plau the sport. My boy plays for the Yankees on Machine Pitch, and I go to every game, and I root for both teams, because they are just kids, having fun......

I see Todd is supporting Cushman for Mayor.
Do I smell a MUD board daddy/son team?
Maybe Todd could get rid of all the Village workers that make too much money.

This is too funny, ilion has become nothing but a welfare town, all of these people on here complaining should just be thankful that there are people willing to donate their time to coach all the little welfare children of ilion. who really gives to sharts about a friggin little league!!!!!

Once a child reaches A-League, they stay on that team until they graduate out.(ie, age 12-13)

I know a child who is on the Cardinals. They have not won one game yet. I don't exptect them too either. But they try hard and they give it their all EVERY GAME!

There are only 3 returning players on that team as the rest graduated out last year. The most spots to fill was on the Cardinals team.

The Tigers, Braves, and Yankees have several 12 year olds. Next year, they will be considered a "young" team like the Cardinals are this year.

If you don't like how Little League is run, stay out of it. I think that Mr. Olds is doing and has done a fabulous job.

Kudos Mr. Olds!

Let me set you straight on something. No Little League coach ever "volunteers" their own time, so let's stop saying such nonsense. There is a huge pay-off for them being coaches. Little League coaches become coaches for one reason only-to be able to have a hand in their son's LL career and to avoid him sitting the bench, not playing enough, being put in the wrong position, etc. So everyone can stop saying "Give them a break, they volunteer their own time." It's for their kid only. The only time you find true "volunteers" is when a coach has no kid in it. Very rare to find.

The only reason I was a Little league coach was because the parents would give me free Vodka and drugs, if I let their kid pitch.First base was a big hit too..I slept with a lot of mothers for letting their kid play first base. I would also charge $100 if you wanted your kid to play more then 3 innings. We never won a game but who the hell cares..I never did.

I believe the by-laws don't allow you to coach if you don't have a child involved. I was involved in LL for many years and did it for all the children. They are now all grown up and still remember me for helping, it's a great feeling to be involved and hope you made a little difference in these childrens lives! Obviously more than you're doing!

I believe both of them have no more interest in ILL, so there must be more internal strife? How funny though nothing to do with either of them. Who is responsible for this now?

To the ones on here bitching about the way things are done, I don't see you getting up off your fat lazy asses, putting the hot dogs down and volunteering your time. If you're so worried about how much play time your kid gets, then do something about it. It's called AMBITION people, get some!

Correction:

You slept with their fathers, not mothers

You charged $100 to take it up the pooper.
