The North State will welcome her with open arms! I personally cannot wait! She is a representation of the next chapter in the book of 'Powerful Conservatives and how they changed the world'. It's about time.

Possibly this crazy woman could split the republican party, leading to a somewhat strong third party. This would give a real voice to independents. That might be the best thing to happen to this country in a very long time.

The real truth about Sarah Palin is everyone is afraid of her. The politicos in both parties are quaking in their boots. She's not scared of speaking her mind, and locally her ideas worked. Alaskans (mostly) are proud of her, she attracts huge crowds... The possibilities are exciting, for once. I'm interested and watching closely. Had a thought last eve, what if Mit Romney and Sarah Palin joined up? Could be a real fight!!!

Yes, I am afraid of her. I'm afraid of her being anywhere near any position of government authority. But as for SP being the impetus to establish a viable 3rd party, that may be a good thing for everybody.

It was hard for the loggers to find someone that wouldn't make them look too stupid. Simple Sarah was the only speaker they could find that was dumber than a red neck logger.

The Democrats, and The Liberals are scared of a REAL WOMAN, and a Lady ! Just look at the so called WOMAN in any elected office ! A very Good Example of the Trash Woman : NANCY PELOSI, BARBARA BOXER, but then you have Hillary Clinton with her pant suits, and just look at the First Lady Michelle; Is Michelle proud of America now ? With Sarah Palin you get a woman with Beauty, and back to good old Christian values !

Maybe you should thank one of those dumb redneck loggers the next time you're able to wipe your arse with paper, or do you live in a glass house that has no wood framing? Douche Bag...

Oh boy, the loggers get to listen to the most famous quitter in the country. Not to mention the falsehoods that a fact check of her new book shows up. Guess the only good thing is that she has no chance of being elected to national office, she has her rabid 28% support base but 72% of the country finds her unfit.

There was a recent poll that showed 70% of Americans think that Sarah Palin is unfit to be president. I don't think many people are "afraid" of her. You write that Alaskans are proud of her, yet even if she ran for re-election she likely would have lost the race for another term as Governor.

Unfit to be president? After seeing Obamas performance over the past year it appears there are no qualifications necessary. No, I'm not a republican.

Nobody is "scared" of Palin as a political foe. And the premise doesn't become true simply because the phrase is repeated ad nauseum. Any real "fear" stems from the thought of her in a position of political power considering her intellectual deficiencies.

Palin is akin to a "WWE" candidate; she's a show accompanied with bright lights and loud explosions, but in the end, there's no substance and the product is fake.
