Black teens loitering outside E. Hemet stores

Today, once again, I observed a suspicious-looking black teen hanging around outside a store in the strip mall on Florida Avenue at New Chicago. The specific area is the row of stores is just west of the Stater Brothers, where there's an "Everything for $1.00"-type store, a hair salon, a pizza shop and a check-cashing business. As I exited one of the stores a young black was sitting outside next to one of the pillars. The kid had a very solemn expression, as if he was scheming somthing, and totally eyeballed me as I entered my car. It immediately occurred to me that as soon as I left he was going to call someone with a car to tail me home and then rob me.("Paranoid," you say? Have you read about the numerous cases (several reported in the newspaper) in which people have been follwed home from the Soboba casino and robbed?) Fortunately, nothing happened.

What amazes me is that the owners of the stores allow such loitering right in front of their businesses.

Paranoid is right. Maybe his mother was shopping in one of the stores. If you are that afraid then maybe you should stay home. If the kid was white would you have panicked?
And by the way you were not leaving the casino. Good grief lighten up.

Yeah, lighten up, don't observe what is going on around you, and you will make the papers as the next victim of a violent crime.

I say watch your a$$, no matter the color of skin! If something looks suspicious, get away asap, and call the PD. MAYBE there are enough cops left to at least check things out a bit. Hopefully you're not in an RSO "covered" area, as it may take a while to make an appointment for an officer to respond.

Sounds like you are paranoid and racial profiling not to mention stereotyping someone by the color of their skin. I think the biggest nuisance in this town is the white meth addicts that pan handle all over town. They are the ones you need to be concerned about!

I think you're just another clueless dolt who, as we used to say of folks like you back in NYC, "doesn't know his ass from his elbow."

Try actually learning the FACTS concerning rates of black vs white vs hispanic crime, THEN try spouting your predictable, politically correct (and completely false) claptrap. Stop being closed-minded and educate yourself about the REALITIES of who's committing most of the crime all across the USA.

(BTW, on Saturday afternoon I was in the shopping center mentioned in the OP and, while I did not see any suspicious-looking black teens as the original writer did, I did observe an hispanic guy wandering the parking lot of the nearby Stater Brothers supermarket asking people for money.)

Crime rates/tendencies that I have observed (in the news on TV or elsewhere, even personally) seem to indicate that black and hispanic folks tend to do the most common stuff, stealing, robbing, killing, raping, prostituting, gang-banging, drug dealing, car-jacking, etc., while most white crime is financially based, or child molesting, serial killing, and assault. Just my observations....NOT disparaging or defending anyone.

Anyone else notice the same things?

First of all, your #1 mistake is relying on the establishment corporate media for your information. That's why you're soooo off-base regarding things such as child molestation, which is virtually a cultural norm in some hispanic "cultures." After seeing last nights news ...where the black guy was cruising outside stores, then sees a korean woman half blind, he runs up to her, snaps the diamond/jade necklace off her neck, she tries to fight him off...he runs away.

But he was not to smart cause about 3 store cameras caught him doing it, it is only a matter of time.

So IF some one is caught just loitering around, MAN up Managers, check it out and if they do not have any business being there, run them off. PROTECT your real customers.

Hemet has a terrible problem with petty robbery... what these people better soon realize is these Senior folks, lived from back in the day, where they were gun owners and carriers, and many still have them. Frankly I would love to see some 16 year old kid run up against a 80 something Senior, and she peppers their rear ends for trying to rob her of her purse...LoL

OK, that's 2. I forgot about the Grim Sleeper. Will check out Wayne Williams.

Still, odds are that a serial killer will be white. AND have 3 names! Why does the "news" almost always assign all 3 names to serial killers?

Wayne Williams convicted of 2 murders, assumed guilty in others. Possible KKK murders blamed on Williams. Really an interesting story, check it out if you have time.

Not really convinced Williams was a true serial killer, but we'll go with that for now.

I forgot about Celeophus Prince Jr. of San Diego. I believe he is currently on death row at San Quentin. I don't believe race has anything to do with being a serial killer. It seems all races are represented in that group.
