Hiring, goals set for Dundee plant

DaimlerChrysler AG and its engine joint-venture partners have started the process for hiring about 400 hourly and salaried employees for a factory being built in Dundee, Mich., where the goal is to slash to less than two hours the time to make each four-cylinder engine.
